I didn't even think of the Seahawks. That is a bit crazy.

It's just fun to speculate. I don't think any blockbuster will go down - too many of our assets are low value right now:

Low relative value:
  • Bledsoe:major injury
  • Knight: Stanking it up - better than his production post-bledsoe injury indicates
  • Archie: Raw player just starting to show what he can do on the court. Smart money is on him only increasing in value.
  • Warren: Injured + under-utilized.
  • Len: under-utilized
  • Kieff: he's a Morris twin.

^^All these players would yield low return relative to their talent level in my opinion.

That leaves:
  • Chandler: best case scenario would be trading him for expiring contracts.
  • Tucker: best case return, low first rounder or young seldom used player.
  • Mirza: best case return, high second rounder or young seldom used player.
  • Leuer:best case return, high second rounder or young seldom used player.

I can see us moving Mirza and keeping Leuer. Tucker may be moved, but I think the Suns organization values him more than other teams. I don't see there being a market for Chandler at this point, unless there is a team out there absolutely desperate for a post defender/rebounder and willing to roll the dice on Chandler returning to near DPOY form.

Okafor is a legit low post option and I think he'll mesh a lot better with Len than Noel.

I would offer either:

Bledsoe + Keiff + Warren

or

Suns unprotected pick + Keiff + Archie Goodwin

Don't rip my head off, but..

It would likely take: Bledsoe+ (Lotto pick)+ keiff+ (Another pick) to pull it off

I don't think that's realistic AT ALL. I think we get massively jobbed in that trade. I'd rather just get a second rounder for each of Tele and Tucker and then trade kieff for one of the 1sts already on the table.

That doesn't make sense considering last year's draft was a MUCH better draft. Taking flyers on late round picks from that draft is a better policy.

More importantly, if you prefer Sullinger, Zeller, Rozier, or Yong, they all work in the deal under the cap. That's the point of the deal. Get the young player(s) you like and a 1st for three assets that have average value at best. Massively jobbed? Lol.

Do you know what opportunity cost is? Because if you do, you'll easily see we get massively jobbed.

I do and I think you are over valuing the assets and judging by your proposed alternative I can see why.

Makes absolutely zero sense for a rebuilding team to trade this guy. Jerry Colangelo is now in charge of that organization and must see something he does not like if he is willing to trade Okafor. Makes me very skeptical about Okafor.

Wow, that's a lot to give up.

Really? I guess I'm higher on Okafor than most people. A front court of Okafor + Len has the potential to be legit on both ends of the floor IMO.

Allow me to give my rationale.

Trade 1:
  • Bledsoe: PG's are a dime a dozen right now in the NBA - and while Bledsoe put up good numbers he's an injury risk player on a 70 mil contract. Would clear-up our lock-jam at the PG position.
  • Kieff: Would return home to Philadelphia - we get rid of this dysfunctional crybaby.
  • Warren: would hate to part with him but I don't think the 76ers would trade Okafor with atleast netting one young player in return for him.

Trade 2:
  • Suns unprotected pick: With our current record we only have between a 25%-30% chance of getting Simmons or Ingraham (depending on coin flip). I consider all other players in the draft to be well below Okafor - talent wise.
  • Markieff: See above.
  • Archie Goodwin: Any trade would need to involve at leats one perimiter player I would assume - since this is what the 76ers are desperate for. I've been a Goodwin support eversince we drafted him, but he's still a wildcard at this point.

Then you have this racist crap that comes across Twitter. I have a real problem with these kind of statements. All it does is feed the racial divide in this country. Stephen A. Is the biggest racist yet no one says anything.

That's fine, but there are already reports of Phoenix having 1sts for Markieff, so I guess you're thinking no team would give up a 2nd for each of Tucker and Tele. I completely disagree.

Boston fans preparing themselves just in case.

Never really thought of them, but they do have a boatload of picks and young players. They might give up their own first and someone like Olynyk or Young or something.

My trade included DAL 1st 2016, a 1st round pick from 2015 (Hunter) and a early second from 2015 (Mickey). I don't follow your thinking. How is one late first and two seconds from a weaker draft a better haul?

You can't assign first round value to guys picked a year ago who haven't done anything positive. Same with early 2nds. That only works when the other team wanted them in that spot too and is willing to look past the fact that they have shown nothing. For instance, Ben Mclemore has had moments and you won't see him going for a lotto pick.

Yeah, b/c nothing will justify a new building more than getting absolutely obliterated by the Warriors in the first round.
