LA most likely to get 2018 all star game

Post#1 » by Slava » Thu Feb 18, 2016 1:35 am

Just days after fans, players, coaches and media members endured subzero temperatures at a second consecutive, frozen-tundra style NBA All-Star experience, there’s hope of warmer days on the horizon: the sun-stained city of Los Angeles is the likely location for the league’s annual affair in 2018.

According to two people with knowledge of the situation, the NBA and Los Angeles officials have made significant progress toward finalizing a partnership for the event. The deal is not done, but the prospect of All-Star weekend returning to Los Angeles for the first time since 2011 is very strong. The people spoke to USA TODAY Sports on the condition of anonymity because an agreement had not yet been reached.

I think by then we'll have a Big 4 in the allstar game like the old days. This time ist's Randle, Clarkson, Russell and Simmons :) Might even have a Big 5 in the allstar game if we get a bigtime FA next couple years? haha

i think we'd try to trade randle for a comparable perimeter or center talent rather than have a trainwreck spacing problem that would be our forward rotation

Randle is fine.

2014, Randle is our boy
2015, Russell come in, **** Randle
2016, Ben is a Laker, **** both Russell and Randle
2017, xxx is a Laker, **** Ben, he's a bust anyway don't care LOL

this is what i observed in any Lakers forums. You guys have no patience about rebuilding, always wanted new and shiny toys, and soon forget the old toys.

This been happening for years, anyone who doesn't show improvement is trade worthy apparently. You keep on trading players that show no improvement then why on earth would any FA's wanting to come when they'll think they'd be traded away.

Lakers sign

Lou for 3 years - doesn't work out on his first year as laker and everyone wants him traded even though he's probably most consistent player

Clarkson 2nd /3rd? year and even though he is still young, everyone wants him traded him as he seems to be a one hit wonder despite being a late 2nd rounder

Randle basically 1st season and yet people saying he can't shoot and lacks floor spacing - time to trade?

ARe you kidding me guys, stop with all this crappy talk.

My bad just having a little rant ...

Preach boy.....this sickens me to see guys jumping to conclusions so soon, like talking about spacing ? Really...if guys think Simmons is going to be a 4 in the NBA, they need to watch again. Ben is a natural 3 and that's where he'll spend a majority of his time.
