Great game for Ingram. Played great D all game even in the 1st half when his shot wasn't falling. Then down by 8 he hits 3 straight shots. The dude was great today in all phases of the game

He hit 7 of 21 and his opponent was the only reason the game was close.

He did not shoot well. But there is a reason he's been getting nothing but praise from all the press after the game. Defense, rebounding and his timely buckets were huge. He didn't shoot will but still made a huge impact on the game

His toughness has surprised me.. He was banging in the paint against guys 3 and 4 years older

When he fills out a little he's gonna be scary

Anyone that watched the game saw how much of an impact Ingram made. Was really impressed by his rebounding in traffic against Meeks/Brice.

This is one of those where you had to watch the game to know that the shooting numbers didn't matter. There were so many chippys that he was missing. He was missing easy layups he always makes and throwing up put backs that weren't dropping. He was solid rebounding the ball and down the stretch he was huge when he hit those 3 consecutive shots. He's a freshman in a big time rival game and he didn't shy away from the moment. That stood out to me.

Ya he definitely was pumped for this game. He came out a little to ancy and he missed layups that he hasn't missed all year. The dude grew up in Tar Heel country, I mean his AAU coach was Stackhouse. You can tell he was just a little to pumped at the start of the game. Once he calmed down he looked like himself when it comes to scoring. He rebounded really well against one of the best rebounding teams and played great D. He showed he can make an impact in the game even when his shots weren't falling.

I am not saying he was bad,I just have a very hard time calling someone's performance great when he ended up shooting 33% from the field. If you guys say he was good,I believe you but great is a strong word for this kind of a shooting night imo. This post just reminded of nurseryc bashing on Ingram for his low shooting percentage in some games while saying Simmons had an impressive game even though he was 3 out of 11 from the floor.

Ya tough game for Ingram. Louisville's press has given Duke fits. Their lack of quality ball-handlers has hurt them.

They were so close to making a run to pull the comeback

Ingram today shot only 3/10 from the field for only 8 points in total in the loss, to go along with just 5 Rebs and an astounding 10 turnovers :o

Ingrams shooting percentages over the last two games are quite alarming:

Last game - 7/21 from the field
Today's game- 3/10 from the field

Terrible game today for Ingram. He was fine defensively but the dude was just out of it offensively. We really needed him today too, Grayson couldnt do it all by himself. Nothing to alarming though in my opinion, just a bad game

Do you honestly think that anything that happens over a 2 game stretch is significant? Honestly...

And its kinda funny if anyone is trying to downplay his game against UNC. He was praised after that game, literally the only thing he did bad was shooting in the first half. The dude had a really good game against UNC.

Lol how about Simmons and how his free throw percentage has completley fallen off. The dude only has one game in over the last month where he shot at elast 70% from the line. Also just 1 assist and 7 TOs for Simmons in 25 minutes so far today. Also 2-5 from the line. The whole thing everyone was saying about how promising his jumper is because of how good of a free throw shooter he i, definitely isnt looking good anymore. Shooting 65% from the line in conference play and 56% from the line this month.

Apparently he has an injured finger though, or so they'd have you believe. I'm sure nurseryc will let you know that however

Thank God Simmons was dominating with his 3/11 performance 2 games ago. Padding his stats in the garbage time last night was also very impressive. Eight turnovers in a college game for a guy whose biggest strengths are ball handing,BBIQ and passing skills must have raised his draft stock too. The scouts have been praising him so much lately I am afraid he might become overconfident.
