Says the guy who thinks Ulis will be fine defensively in the NBA. That is truly hilarious.

Guys, Kentucky doesn't play UNC this year. Let's leave the bias and rivalries to the NCAA... haha!

As a Sixer fan, last I check, I'm in the right place.

Also, I'm usually pretty critical of UK players (ie Ulis above). Like I said earlier in this thread, I'm just waiting for KAT's chicken legs and "boat feet" (whatever those are) to crumble under the pressure of his upper body.

Also like I said earlier in this thread, I'll fully admit I'm wrong about prospects. However, I don't go to the Mavs board telling Mavs/UNC fans what is and what isn't about Brice Johnson. Speaking in absolutes make you look foolish.

Negro, I was just playing around. Hence, the "haha" at the end of my post.

If anything though, the Mavs know all about hyped up PF's from UNC that don't pan out. (See Brandan Wright)

I know, I'm just hammering my point home about our Mavs/UNC visitor in this thread.

Valentine gets assisted in a ton of his shots, he is a good passer but he is not going to make plays off the dribble at the next level, he is a spot up shooter.
Murray hasnt even shown the ability to set up teammates, taking him at 4 would be a monumental reach also.

I agree that Murray might not be a true point guard with the ability to set up his teammates effectively. However, if we were to get Ben Simmons at 1, I think Murray is a MUCH better fit at point guard than Dunn. Simmons and Dunn (and Okafor for that matter) are too dependent on having the ball in their hands to maximize their strengths to play together. In my opinion, if we get Simmons, we should absolutely plan our team around him and his ability to play a point forward role. Murray, as a shooting point guard that can spread the floor, would be ideal next to Simmons. His defensive limitations are an issue, but he is the third most talented scorer in this draft (Hield, Ingram) and I would take a shot on him (if we get Simmons. Disregard all of this if we get Ingram or someone else).

I'd rather the Lakers pick carry over to next year.

Wow what a great game. Ingram didn't have a great night shooting the ball, but he did come through when it mattered which shows he has ice water in his veins.

I've tried extremely hard not to enamor myself with the idea of drafting Ingram because I think this is the year we finally get the #1 and Ben Simmons has looked like no-brainer but Ingram's play lately sure has made that very difficult. They are both elite prospects. Someone mentioned that if we get the #1 and Lakers fall to #4 we should trade up and try and get both. Sounds crazy but if that happens we have got to pursue it.

I watched the 2nd half.... Ingram matched up against Pinson (6'6) or anyone else, he had his way. Ingram matched up against Hicks and Johnson (6'9 and athletic defenders), he struggled to get clean shots off. He made some impressive moves, but if Johnson and Hicks can slow him down, I wonder...

My mind doesn't go there either, but reading it with a fresh set of eyes made it stick out.

Exactly, strong defenders will be a struggle for him unless he gets on that andrew bynum workout plan and truly make gains in the gym, his finishing isn't too strong either

Draftexpress did a pretty cool video on the matchup last night. He does need to get more creative with his ISOs, but he does a great job of getting space to take a solid shot. His ability off the ball is what makes him really great. Limits his propensity for making mistakes like turnovers from forcing offense while setting the distributors up for success. Desperately needs to get stronger.

You can't tell me this kid isn't going to be a top 5 pick. He's too good of a playmaker. Averaging 26 ppg over the last 4. He and Ulis will be the only reasons that UK makes any run.

I was never really on or off it. To me he still seems like the same guy that I thought he was in the beginning of the year. He is not a point guard, but has some scoring and passing ability. I would be happy to take him in the top 10, but probably not any higher than 6th.
