Blake Griffin

Post#1 » by atlantabbq99 » Thu Feb 18, 2016 8:04 am

I'm not a fan of Griffin, but i do understand that other GMs see value in him.

Is their anyway that the Hawks can create a package for Griffin? I would assume that one of the two, Millsap or Horford would have to be the principle the package (but not both Millsap and Horford)

like i said, i'm not a fan of Griffin, but if the Hawks could get him, maybe they could flip him in the offseason to the Lakers for the #1 pick?

We're not getting him. Doc came out and said it himself that they wouldn't trade Blake and he wasn't for sale. Also, Blake spoke in a media press apologizing for his actions so I imagine this will all be water under the bridge in due time.

The Los Angeles Clippers no longer consider Blake Griffin untouchable and are listening to trade offers.

The Clippers, however, are still likely to wait until the offseason to deal away Griffin if they do so at all. If Kevin Durant decides he'd like to play for the Clippers, they would need Griffin as part of a sign-and-trade.

But if the Clippers receive word before the deadline that they're out of contention for Durant, they could accelerate their trade timetable.

What's the point of speculating what kind of package we can put together in the next 12 hours if Blake isn't going to be dealt under any circumstances?

Any package that the Clippers would want for us would favor them.
I doubt they'll accept fair value.
The Clippers are better off waiting to move Blake at the NBA draft.

Return to Atlanta Hawks
