Mirza aint worth a 1st, even a late one.

Harris could become a steal...or the most overpaid forward in the NBA. Depends on how he fits in.

If Monti stays healthy and returns to his old form, then they just robbed Houston at gunpoint. But if he can't stay healthy, then they just gave away a mid first round pick for the privilege to pay $8-$10 mil a season for a guy who will sit on IR.

Perfect time to take on money with the rising cap.

Maybe throw in Telly to a Toronto deal...they could use shooting even if they get Markieff, especially if they give up Patterson. If we give them Tucker, Kieff and Tele that might be enough for that Nuggets/Knicks pick.

I can't see them giving up that pick for just Kieff....they'd give us their own for just him probably.

Add Scola to the deal to Phoenix to make the salaries work
Kieff, Tucker and Teletotiv for Pat Patt, Scola, JJ, Wright and the higher pick

Scola makes less than Teletovic but both are expiring

Makes too much sense for both teams, it will never happen! :D

Utah got Hawks 3rd string PG for a 2nd rounder. So a small trade. All doors for a Knight trade closed for now

Magic just cleared like 25m of cap space with Frye and Harris for Ilysova and Jennings...

They have plenty of money to keep that core together now

The Atlanta Hawks are trading guard Shelvin Mack to the Utah Jazz for a second round draft pick, league sources tell @TheVertical .

Another trade...and we are not there.

Name a better stretch 4 available for less.

A team currently at #12 gave up a top8 protected pick for a chronically injured 25yr old who honestly isnt that good.

Agreed 100% SVG is smart. (sidenote: I think there might be another larger jump in the cap in a cpl years, as I read that owners like the idea of ads on jerseys - think about what coca cola would give up to have their name on the lakers/ny jerseys...)

Kieff is NOT gonna be happy if he isn't traded, regardless of what they newspapers said...and even all these wiretaps and headlines saying he wants to be in Phx are misleading if you actually read the articles.

We can likely get something reasonable for him in the offseason but I'd rather he be moved now.

I don't doubt that we could potentially get a better deal for Keef in the offseason, but I don't trust the dude to not do anything stupid for the next 7ish plus months.

Really hope the Lakers or Philly makes a trade so we can have the 2nd best tank. Philly still has 6 game lead over us. :(

I would be disappointed - the deal for JJ and Delon was a good one

Man, if that's the case it's possible we just stay put today.

Keiff to Toronto still makes sense but I thought they said they weren't interested. Not sure we'll be able to get anything for Telly.

Cavaliers are now -$39 million on their cap and $24.5 million over their tax line. Good lord.

As opposed to the Suns who are -$4.5 million on their cap and $10 million UNDER the tax line.

Heat traded Jarnell Stokes to the Pelicans!

That also closes something to someone somewhere
