That's assuming we don't get it.

Do we use the latter pick for a draft and stash now?
I would def want to get a couple young guys to develop between those.

This class is turrible , its Ingram/Simmons or bust without much depth. No team is gunna trade out of the Top 2 for a late lotto/late 20s pick.

I bet they were waiting for the Suns to cave and take whatever they had on the table and McD said "eff that" and took the Wizards deal, which was likely better anyway.

Not discussing the Kieff trade. I think given the Kieff trade, and with Anderson not moving, Tucker for Wright and JJ or Tele for a future 2nd would've been good. I don't think we would've turned down any type of pick for Tele.

I think if the Raptors turned down a deal for Kieff and Tucker - they made a mistake.

Kieff and Tucker would have been upgrades to Pat Patt, Scola and it would have cost them the KNicks pick and a young guy like Delon Wright, Cabolco or both.

I like this trade better because the pick will be the same, if not better. But the contracts of Blair and Humphries are basically expiring deals. So the Suns are getting cap space this summer

I just hope McD learned his lesson this time and consulted Marcus before trading Kieff.

He will end up being a lot better than you think, and this draft is weak. No way you get a player of Markieff's caliber with that pick.

What the hell are you smoking? He's had one good season. He's only ever posted a TS% over 50% in two of his five seasons. What potential are you even talking about? Morris isn't a good player.

I hope the Wiz get the 7th seed and take out Toronto in the first round, and Markieff is the difference maker. Would be fitting.

Keef could easily be one of the best power forwards in the NBA...if he wanted to. At least now if he blows up, we only have to see him twice a year.

I'm happy with the trade. We got a fair value for him. I figured he would be worth a late lottery pick and that is probably what we will get for him.

If all goes right, we will have a top 2 pick and a chance to steal someone at 10-12

If all goes wrong, we can combine the 5th pick, 14th pick, and 27th pick and try to get Philly to exchange for #1 or #2.

We now have lots of options for draft day.

Love the trade. Honestly surprised they got that much for his punk ass.

I think he's just playing too well to go outside of the top 25.

Like you said, his ceiling is just so high.

Thats a bit high imho - maybe the Cavs pick? But we'll need to draft and stash with either that, or our 2nd rounder.

I kind of hope Kieff makes the wizards good enough to miss the play offs by 1 game and the Suns get the 14th pick in the draft

OR

Your way - as you are right. Toronto - IF it comes out they turned down the Suns Raptors trades discussed on this board - are missing out on building a solid team through .
