Or, the Rockets were being unreasonable.

@ESPNSteinLine
ESPN sources say Houston talked Dwight Howard with Atlanta, Boston, Charlotte, Chicago, Dallas, Miami, and Milwaukee. Looming free agency big obstacle.

Could be. Could be that Morey played chicken and held out for that one sucker. Boston has all kinds of assets and they didn't consolidate. Very surprising.

Seems they will pursue Horford while the Hornets go for Dwight Howard. I don't care the price as long as it's short term. I also would be open to signing a shooter instead of Batum at the max.

The main rumor was McLemore/Koufus and probably a draft pick for Snell/Gasol.

Don't get how teams held onto guys that are not returning. I guess they can still do sign and trade, but Houston's season is done with...they had to make a move.

I can't help but chuckle a bit about the Clippers and Wizards giving up 1st round picks for Green and Markieff. With Kieff there is at least the hope that he gets his **** together and becomes the player he can be, but why are teams still giving away 1st round picks for Jeff Green?

Think it was necessary to move Lance.

So 7 months or so after being traded for one another between Charlotte and LA, Lance and Barnes end up teammates on another team entirely. Lance is reunited with PJ as well. This makes our Lance trade all the better, by the way.

Hornets essentially traded Lance and a 2nd for Hawes and Lamb.
Clippers essentially traded Lance and a 1st for Green, whose contract expires in 2 months.

What a crazy downturn Lance has taken since he signed with us.

Not just Lance, but that whole Pacers team that seemed like they were on the verge of something when they made it into the conference finals.

Odder still Lance wasn't playing too badly when Doc wasn't trotting him out there as a PF.

I can't wait to see these Memphis Grizzlies.

@Keith_Langlois
#Pistons have asked for 24-hour extension of 72-hour trade window to further evaluate @DonatasMot back condition, SVG says

This was the Motiejunas/Thornton for Joel Anthony/1st round pick trade. Anthony was then sent to Philly, but if Motiejunas doesn't pass a physical the whole thing could be voided.
