GT #52: Jazz @ Wizards 7 PM (CSN/99.1 FM) [2/18/16]

YOUR Washington Bullets are 23-28 and are still in 10th place in the East. If they want to make the postseason (unlikely), they will have to play at about a .600 level for the rest of the season. At the time of this thread, no major trades have happened. But there may be one soon for a PF and Ernie Grunfeld may sacrifice one of our young players and assets to make a short sighted trade for a veteran who will bolt in the offseason.

The Jazz are at .500. The young team led by their young coach have played hard and continue to develop. They are 8-2 in their last 10 and have placed themselves in the 8th seed. Just behind the surprising Blazers and above the disappointing train wreck of the Rockets.

Gordon Hayward and Derrick Favors remain the biggest offensive pieces for the Jazz.

I gotta chalk this up as an ugly L with how Quinn Snyder will outcoach Wittless.

HERE'S your lineups.

I have 2 nosebleed tickets (section 400) on the end of a row available to the first regular poster here who PM's me - free. Won't be able to make the rescheduled game, unfortunately.

5 games in 6 nights, good thing this team makes it easy to skip games.

It's 5 games in 7 nights, not 6.Maybe sucks for the players but since Im a junkie, I love the 3 games in 3 nights. I'm guessing Beal will sit out the middle game against Detroit. No excuses. It's now or never for us. No excuse to not atleast make the 8th seed. We have experience and will soon have everyone available. EG may suck but Witt should still get us in. If he can't then that's on him. A big part will be his lineups and rotations especially coming out of the break. We should get in and the time is now. I expect Wall & Beal to be so money and playing harder than they've ever played before. They want to be in the show and everyone else will follow.

The Wizards will come out of the break and do the one thing they've consistently been doing all year, lay a big egg.

gonna be ugly

gotta hit jumpshots over their trees and on the opposite end we don't really have enough bulk down low to stop their front court

Not that he needs aditional opportunities, but this an opportunity to force Randy to try some new rotations for a change, I'd be shocked to see it happen though.

The date change has rendered Ticketmaster single-game tix completely useless. I think I'm going tonight, but after two different calls that totalled 90 minutes of my day wasted (mostly on hold), the tell me that i have "ticket by credit card" where I swipe my cc at the door to get in.

The first time I called them today (45 wasted minutes), they pledged to email me tix in one hour. After 3 hours, I called again (40 wasted minutes, mostly on hold) and they told me to use my credit card.

I have zero confidence that my credit card will work to get in. Just on more kick in the nuts from this woebegone Wizards organization that just can't get the simple things right. Uncle Ted is supposedly some tech guru/genius. Get a better ticket vendor.

Huh... my tickets have disappeared from TicketMaster after showing for sale and eligible for transfer 24 hours ago. Awesome service!
