Some nice stuff tonight. At times, great ball movement, good pace and some actual sustained effort on the defensive end. Wall looked like he was still in full on ASG mode. Some sick stuff (when it worked) and boneheaded (when it didn't).

A lot of good play mixed in with a variety of low IQ boneheadedness....meh. A love when Wall plays like this though.

Depressed further, I was hoping for a loss.

I'd be surprised if he did - he certainly won't play heavy minutes. He barely knows our system and probably couldn't be trusted to make proper rotations. If he plays, it'll probably be sparingly, in garbage time mostly.

We have a system?
Our system is either wall driving to the basket and refusing to take an open layup, instead passing it out for an open 3, or Wall and Gortat pick n roll. We play pick up 5 on 5 YMCA ball.

Would have been nice to see him play vs his brother when he's actually trying though.

Surprised that we won but in hindsight, Randy was prescient (or something? LOL) in starting
Nene with Tat. Even with Gobert's amazing defensive chops, Nene has the kind of offensive
game that wingspan alone is not that effective against. Nene's advantage in footspeed enabled
him to have his way. We probably need to go back to a S4 starting lineup vs DET tonight.

most surprising of all might have been that we won all 4 Qs. After seeing them lose to us,
I wonder how they're managing to hang in the WC playoff standings.

Lowest energy crowd I've seen in forever.

Yeah, with the Gobert/Favors tandem up front, Wittman didn't really have much choice but to start Nene. I'm happy Nene could play 25 minutes with energy. I hope we don't see the fatigue set in next game.
