Yall need stop tryna make it seem as if kcp is a scapegoat. Theres a difference between being a scapegoat and being a 1 dimensional bum. This dude is only mustering up 14ppg and shoots 41%. When hes in the halfcourt, defenses know that he only wants to shoot long 2s. When he attempts to drive to the basket, he has to take 2-3 steps behind the 3pt line to charge up due to him being a skinny nig@@. He can't seal defenders to catch the ball in a triple threat position like a derozon. He has absolutely no ball handling moves. Never seen him attempt a crossover. He never finishes with his left. He tries on defense which is good, but when your a skinny defender, you just get bodied to the rim. Hes not making any better when hes on the floor. He keeps shooting even when hes cold (can say the same about rj and dre too). He cant do basic passes or throw alleys.

Our starting lineup
A point guard who despite dribbling for 10 seconds, will only move a couple of feet

A 1 dimensional shooting guard who isnt even a specialist at the 1 skill he does well

An extremely slow footed goon (Morris) who i believe svg is scared to bench in favor of harris

And the dumbest fu**ing center in league. Outside of rebounding, dre has not 1 skill beneficial for the team. Aaron baynes protects the basket better than dre but he cant rebound like dre. If i was an opposing team about to play detroit, i would have the defense funnel the ball to give drummond post feeds since he postgame is cringe.

At this point, i would rather give a max contract to marcin gortat(and he's no max player himself) before i give 1 to drummond.

When a teams offense gets locked up for a beginning of a possession, they usually give it to their bail out player to get a shot off. The Pistons bail out players are the over dribbling jackson and the league worst freethrow shooter in history who will get fouled and brick 2 religiously.

you guys are off of your rockers, he is only in his third year, one of our best wing defenders and has made improvements every year. yeah he is a little young, and does some stupid things from time to time, but give the guy a break. there is no one that plays defense as hard on our starting line-up more than him, and when Stanley is able to put it together they will taking peoples lunch money.

They don't know better. Probably new to basketball and really excited. They haven't have to wait through development and building a team. It's the NBA2K age.

How many times can I re-post this?

Yeah seriously. Bash the guy who, at the very least, always gives 100% effort. Can't say the same about the effort for Drummond lately, unfortunately.

Agree. Dre and Reggie are the ones that should be blamed if we continue to suck. Their effort has been god awful lately

It's time to stop treating him with kid gloves. It's his third season and he's 23. There's still time for improvement, but I'd have hoped to see more, particularly offensively.
Comments to rationalize bad contracts -
1) It's less than the MLE
2) He can be traded later
3) It's only __% of the cap
4) The cap is going up
5) It's only __ years
6) He's a good mentor/locker room guy

Haha you guys are mad at KCP when we won only one game without him against the Knicks. KCP is actually our best player and with the trade deadline we got a new better player and he needs to take KCP's shots. Harris is able to score 22 pts a game. Once he starts and we get firepower from the bench, things will be fine. KCP was our best player and he didn't show up after sitting out from an injury and an All Star break. KCP is better than Jackson but Jackson has a bigger role. Harris is now our best player and needs to get the role of the primary scorer. The offense needs to run through Jackson, Dre's pick and rolls and PRIMARY kick out to Harris whether or NOT he's covered. Why? The defense will always collapse on Drummond and if Jackson moves away from the ball, it'll flow the offense like never before. Morris will soon hit the bench if we keep losing. Just remember SVG is the coach. He knows basketball really well. He always has tricks up his sleeve.

This is literally based off one game. If it wasn't, you would've posted this the past month.

The reality is KCP is as expendable as ever right now with the most recent acquisitions. We have way more depth at SF and PF which makes minutes hard to come by for Stanley Johnson who prefers the shooting guard position (can use his size and strength advantage more). If KCP doesn't get out of his shooting slump..Johnson, Thornton, Hilliard, Meeks are going to take more of his minutes. Now, we need him to take the next step and I'm a big KCP supporter so Im hopeful he can do it. If he flounders he is most likely from our core to get traded (and we wont get all that much either if he does). C'mon KCP! Now would be a good time to man up on Offense!

imo KCP needs to improve his 3pt% from .305 to .375 to be our shooting guard long term...can he do it?
