If that's the case then what happened to the Pistons' boost or the Clippers' tonight?Last Guardian wrote:There has been a sense of urgency to win many times this season...this wasn't our first win. During January though I agree there was no sense of urgency.
Trades always give a boost at first, hopefully we keep it up.

the magic are 4-16 in their last 20 games, but please continue
aol4532 on bill russell
I think if you put McGee back then, he would get those blocks just as easily as Russell did. Russell's athleticism was well ahead of the players of his time, and that's about it.

We all knew Jennings would bring a positive-'tude. But I did not realise the positive force İlyasova would have on in-game intensity.
For one game, İlyasova looks to be a huge upgrade over Frye !

How about, "The Magic has won 75% of their last 4 games"?

Finishing out strong is the most important thing we can do. It will help our chances in the FA market this summer.
A losing record may make FAs think they can bring us to .500
A winning record or .500 record may make FAs think they can put us over the top, which is wayyyy more attractive

I like this glass is half full view. Forget January. New half of the season with new guys. Last year we went on a tear post ASB too.

It's honestly not the fans - it's the Amway Center. Back in the old 'Orena', the place would get just as loud and roudy as any other crowd in the league. Of course, we do suffer a bit from having so many people here from all over the country (so you get Knicks fans cheering, Heat fans I can't stand, Laker fans, etc), PLUS you get the non-fan types just looking to go out for the night but could care less about the actual game going on...but for the most part it's the fact that the Amway Center is more of a 8th wonder of the world and less of a sports arena.

I think you have to forget. We were above .500 before January, but that didn't stop us from having a bad January and that didn't stop us from winning three of four (nearly all four) against good teams this week . The past is the past.

Couldn't agree more.
Basketball is driven by three principles:
1) Movement 2) Application of fundamentals 3) Predictability
