Bench morris and kcp for sj and Tobias

Post#1 » by StunnaStan » Mon Feb 22, 2016 4:15 pm

Marcus morris is a bum. Can't pass, shoot, run, play defense.

Kcp can't do anything besides take and miss long shots

Get these nigg@$ the **** out the starting lineup and bench them mf's for the rest of the season.

Lose to Knicks with kcp starting. Beat them with sj starting.

Not sure who would start over KCP unless it is SJ, then who would play SF?

I wouldn't mind seeing a lineup of

RJ
KCP
SJ
Harris
Drummond

i dont think kcp is a better player if he comes off the bench. that wouldnt help us. id be in favor of sj starting at the three because i think marcus could be the same player off the bench.

RJ
KCP/
SJ/Morris
Harris/Morris
Drummond/Baynes

I actually like Morris but SJ moves better without the ball and up & down the court. The starting unit needs that. Harris is a better overall scorer.

KCP&SJ next to each other could be the change the defense needs.

SVG needs to stop experimenting and just play his best players.
You need 2-way wings, 2-way shooting bigs, and you can't allow low iq players on the court. Assist/turnover ratio is crucial. Shooting point guards are icing on the cake IF they are plus defenders.
Weaver & Casey, govern yourselves accordingly!

Yup this is the line-up we need. We need more off-ball movement and this line-up should accomplish that.

Marcus Morris:
October 57.1% 3pt Our Record: 3-0
November: 22% 3pt Our Record: 6-9
December: 44.2% 3pt Our Record: 9-6 (He also shot 46.9% FG% during DEC, next highest month is 41%.)
January: 24% 3pt Our Record: 7-8
February: 31% 3pt Our Record: 2-6

Is it a coincidence that we have a losing record in every month that Marcus was horrible from 3pt range? Obviously there were MANY other factors... but Reggie/Drummond need competent 3pt shooters around them for us to succeed.

22%, 24%, and even 31% isn't going to cut it in the starting line-up. It's hard to win with those percentages.

He also has only shot above 41% FG% in 2 months(OCT&DEC) where our combined record is 12-6, his FG% was around 47%.

We have 2 players in our starting line-up with a FG% of 41%, and we wonder why we shoot one of the lowest FG% in the league?
KCP at least plays fantastic defense to justify starting.

Obviously Stanley Johnson isn't shooting any better, but I have higher hopes on him improving.
