McBob looking good...Dragic was awesome. When Bosh is back we need to keep this pace

First of all, much credit to the Pacers. They are very well coached, they play tough and will be a force in the playoffs, much more so than other teams such as Atlanta, Chicago or Charlotte. I hope we're gonna face them in the postseason, the games are always battles.

They did a good job of slowing us down, always made sure to get back in transition and pounded on our small ball lineup, particularly early on with Turner against Deng. Nonetheless we played hard, pushed through our shooting struggles and pulled off the win.

I am all in for Heat vs Pacers playoff battle. Both squads fully healthy. George can't average 30ppg against us in the playoffs so Winslow will have his hands full.

We're fun as hell to watch when Dragic leads the way but what is our ceiling? I personally don't believe that a team built around Dragic would beat one built around both Wade and CB in a playoff series.

I don't think a team with a 36 year old Wade as its first or second option can be a contender either. And I disagree, I think a team built around Dragic/Whiteside would be better in a playoff series than Wade/Bosh. I don't think Wade would even be able to finish a playoff series without missing games honestly. I like Bosh so I think Dragic/Whiteside/Bosh would be real nice if CB makes it back.

Its a good thing we have all 4 (health permitting for CB) and don't have to pick and choose :)

As for the hierarchy on offense in a playoff series, all I'll say is it depends. I think we'll do the best if the guys just play smart basketball and let the game come to them. Wade knows how to do that without dominating the ball, he's done it before. Remember, part of the problem is also other guys deferring to him when he's in the game because they expect him to bail out the offense... but that said, he does have to be quicker making decisions and stuff.

One thing to say in Wade's defense is that he was very active on his baseline cuts tonight but people just don't hit him. Just like Dragic doesn't pass it to him when Wade's strong side defender helps out on him on Dragic's drive and Wade moves a little further up to be open for a middle penetration. This team has to start doing a much better job of looking for Wade's movement off the ball. LeBron's and Wade's chemistry in that regard was outstanding, in part because LeBron just has a much better court vision and is a much better passer than Dragic, but also because LeBron was consciously looking for Wade and vice versa.

I also agree with your original statement that Dragic is surely not a good enough player to be a first option on a contender. As Wade is getting older and nearing retirement, we're gonna have to look for another first option type of player. It's gonna be a tough task, but one can hope in one of the next two summer, we'll find that player. As of right now, Wade is still a better player than Dragic, albeit not good enough to be that strong first option either.

If anyone can go Kobe is Paul George but we are lucky that he is usually passive. He is very underrated. He really tries to let his teammates shine. I for one don't want to see the pacers in the playoffs. Glad celtics trade for pg this off-season got declined.
1. Herro 2. Bol Bol 3. Seko 4. Bruno
unless we trade up for Barrett or trade down for PJ Washington

Errors were lopsided against the Heat. Here are the last 2 minutes of regulation too.
