Kings were the benefit of some quick whistles on Jokic and Nursif last game. I don't see that happening again.

The kids got schooled by Sacramento's veterans in last week's meeting, as Cousins and Rondo had their way with Denver's rookies and sophomores. Emmanual Mudiay needs to find a way to run the offense and get lane penetration. Sacramento's defensive switch confused him last time.

Nurkic and Jokic cannot be dismantled by Cousins so readily this time around.

Effort and defense are a must. Malone has stressed it over the last couple of games but neither aspect made it to the court for the Nuggets.

Prediction: Nuggets 108, Kings 106

So they think they can win tonight, but need better defense and effort. Heard a lot of that too in Sacramento.

I usually have a decent handle on the draft and the kids coming out, all the way from wanting Parker over Wallace, but I was wrong in my love for Mudiay. He's not going to be a player

I heard Karl was still making pro-pace comments on another forum, I can't even talk about it anymore. Will just see what comes out of this season

Malone always talks about defence and effort.And when a player of him got traded no matter how bad he was he always says his team will miss him,his presence in defence etc.Malone was the ''best'' coach we had because he made a good environment and he became a friend even to Cousins.But I do not think he was a good coach in-game when he was coaching Kings.But he is still young for a coach hope he will improve

Me as well. I think the biggest adjustment will be on how the Nuggets big men defend the post. We may see Lauvergne off the bench before Nurkic if energy is an issue for them.

As long as Cousins does his usual thing and we don't commit too many TOs, I think we will be fine.

Lauvergne is a player the Kings should keep their eyes on. He had a career type of night the last go-around. I hope they learned they can't forget about him.
