Oubre with some really skillful dribble drives...something to take note of

Didn't see the game, nor did I see much chatter.

How did TRex 'Kieff look tonight?

I think we are being clowned, Jarrell wouldn't have been signed for the remainder of the year if Anderson was really going to play.

Was he active? If so, how didn't he get in to a 20 point blowout?

Nope, he wasn't even dressed per-usual.

(Thanks, AFM!)

http://espn.go.com/nba/recap?gameId=400828728

The Wizards have won three of four since the break, holding their opponent under 90 points in each victory.

Wall was 5 for 17 from the field in his second triple-double of the season and fifth of his career. He also had two steals in 31 1/2 minutes.

Davis grabbed 20 more rebounds, but was held to just nine points on 3-for-9 shooting. The All-Star forward had 59 points and 20 rebounds in a 111-106 victory against the Pistons on Sunday.

"They had a guy playing behind him and in front of him the entire game," Pelicans coach Alvin Gentry said. "We had to have other guys step up and make shots, and we just didn't shoot the ball very well."

It was the first time this season that Davis failed to score in double figures when he played at least 20 minutes.

I see from highlights that Marcin Gortat and Jared Dudley were very locked-in and on-point defensively. They both played with Markieff before. They're HAPPY.

'Kieff got a (Wall effect) dunk!

Wizards also got more help coming in Hickson. Hickson and Morris beats the heck out of Humphries and Blair on pure "WHAT THIS TEAM NEEDS RIGHT NOW".

I'm getting happy about this ...

I have to give credit to Wittman and the Wizards front court for executing an excellent scheme to contain Anthony Davis. The rest of the Pelicans did not step up.

Jared Freakin' Dudley!! Looks like a plodding, pudgy guy, but he knows where to be, is mature, can guard bigger players, nice passer and hits the 3 ball. He is not a top priority, but I hope the Bullets can bring Dudley, Sessions, and Temple back as role players on reasonable contracts next year.

I am still skeptical of the Markieff Morris trade, but that play with him running the floor, passing, catching and throwing it down was my highlight of the night. Keep in coming Kieff!

WallStar had a terrible shooting night, but managed to make a difference in other ways, which is what good players do.

If the Wizards keep playing D and a couple other teams falter, the playoffs are possible.

Nice win. 3/4 since the break. Now they just have to keep up that pace for basically
the duration of the season. All 3 Ws pretty convincing wins. Now beat CHI tonight!

Temple is only as good as his shot from night to night. He's not terrible at other things
but he can become a self check at times and while I like the idea of his aggressiveness
in transition, there are clearly times when he needs to exercise more discretion.
Sessions and Dudley are solid role guys who I wouldn't mind seeing back.

I'm quibbling but I think it was actually Beal with the assist on that one. Beal filled the lane and did draw the defense with his drive and spin move, and credit to him for seeing Keef. It was a smart pass. But I thought Keef was the one who made that play for himself with his terrific effort. He got the steal and then started up the break, made the smart outlet pass, filled hard and then pulled off a really difficult monster finish on an excellent shot blocker.

I like Morris's energy. He's clearly still trying to find his legs here, but the skills and energy are there. I think he gets comfortable within a couple of weeks and makes an impact down the stretch.

I missed almost all of the first half, then watched an eye-popping, jaw-dropping 3d quarter!!

At one point, btw, the ball was loose somewhere near Anderson and Dudley, and I got to see their reaction time as the 2 of them went after it -- slooowly! :)

OTOH, Dudley was just great last night!
