our main players are just too nice, and they lack a sense of reality. When Lebron returned to the cavs, he was saying so many good things about Dion, and considered him a big part of their team. But he realized in less than 2 months how bad Dion was, stopped passing him the ball and traded him.
KD and WB should have done the same. We can blame Presti and Donovan, but it's clear from watching every thunder game this season that KD & WB like Dion a lot, and they try too much to make him participate (which would be good if it wasn't DIon***waiters).

If the franchise really believed Waiters was awful, he wouldn't even play. Don't be so naive.

OH for gawds sakes, you didn't even have to defend Dion there, BillDOh. This guy needs to realize he's coaching big boy basketball now and stop tiptoeing around these players' feelings so much. All he had to do was say there comfortable with Andre starting and move on.

Am i crazy to think that it could be better to finish 4th than 3rd? First round is going to be relatively easy anyway ( mostly with Marc Gasol being out for the rest of the season), and i think we have almost the same odds of beating GSW than the spurs ( a little bit less, but still). On the other hand, the clippers match up pretty well against the spurs and they have a shot against them ( and almost none against GSW). So odds to face the clippers in WCF are not THAT bad.
OK i know. Our team is struggling a lot right now and we are far from beating GSW, SPURS...but we never know what can happen postseason... ;)

I agree.

And that's why I think Donovan should start resting KD, Russ, and Ibaka on back to backs on the road. At this point its almost mathematically impossible for OKC to overtake the Spurs for the #2 seed or drop to the #5 seed.

All things equal I'd rather have the #4 seed because:

1. There is a 25-30% chance the Spurs lose to the Clippers in the second round if the Clippers get the #3

2. Golden State may be rusty and not at full focus and intensity in round 2. I'd rather face Golden State in the 2nd round rather than the WCF. Look how rusty they looked against Memphis last year in round 2.

That is not championship mentality. You can't contend for the ring and calculate. They need the scalp of Spurs more than anything.
And also it would be good to have home advantage if we enter in the big Finals against the Cavs.

totally agree with that. I never said that we should tank or whatever to get the 4th seed. Just said that I think that if we finish 4th, we have (in my opinion) more chances to reach the finals. But indeed it could be crucial to have home court advantage against the cavs if we reach the finals.
Just hope we can fix some issues until the end of regular season, regardless of win or loses.

Just heard that Michael Beasley has been showing interest to some teams. He's been baller in China, averaging over 30ppg plus over 12rpg

I'll love if we could bring him here. He'll bring a great spark off the bench along with Payne, Kanter, Waiters

Lol what?we already have a non-nba-caliber player getting minutes every night. Don't need another one, thank you

The only way I want Beasley is in a trade with Dion.
