When: 8:30 PM MT Feb. 25th 2016
Where: Vivint Smart Home Arena, Salt Lake City UT
This is going to be a tough one, second night of a back to back and Jazz aren't exactly a push over team.
The Jazz have won 8 in a row at home and have been playing some amazing defense lately. If we want to win this one we're going to have a play 4 complete quarters,we've gotta move the ball with purpose and limit our mistakes.
Go Spurs!!

IMO pressuring their guards is a key. They couldn't decide between Burke and Nato all year and now Shelvin Mack is their savior at PG. I think if we really pressure him and (as always) stop with the careless turnovers, we should be ok.

Very good point. Getting Patty into the game early to harass whoever they play at point wouldn't be a bad idea.

Pulling away in the 4th. Good ball movement with a mixture of bad Jazz defense.

Mills is in game changing form, he really is. It's hard to see it when you're a Spurs fan, but it's the type of play by guys that you hate and are fearful of when you see it from opponents.
And Kawhi was magnificent today. He is getting really patient and confident in the post and then you have a new found confidence on those threes. He has been super accurate (yet selective) all year but I don't think I've seen him in the triple threat a few steps behind the line and just launch it over the defender like he did in the first half.
Surprised the Jazz doubled LMA as much as they did, made it hard for him to really get going.
I'll give Green a pass because he really didn't get a a chance to do much on offense.
I said it the other day in the General Board, but the Jazz are a really likeable team. Burke is a hog, but other than that they play very unselfish and old style basketball, I love it. Gobert isn't quite as athletic as I thought he was but he is decent on offense and really good on the defensive end, Booker and Favours are great, Hayward is up there with the Allstars of the league and deserves more calls on the contact he takes, they are a solid point guard (possibly if Exum returns healthy and develops) away from contending very soon. Really good coach too.

Re: GT: Spurs vs. Jazz
Just finished watching the replay of this one. This might of been our most complete performance of the rodeo road trip, the first half was a bit of a slug fest but that's what happens when two of the best defenses in the league go head to head.
Everyone really played well but Kawhi was just unreal, the Jazz had no answers for him.
As for the Jazz i'm really becoming a fan of them. If one of Hayward or Favors makes a big leap forward they could be contenders.

They have a lot of fans around the league by the sounds of it.
I must not have been paying attention over the years, never knew Synder was with our D League team.
Snyder spent three seasons in the Spurs coaching system, heading their D-League affiliate Austin Toros. Popovich said Snyder was ''kind of a basketball philosopher at a young age.'' Popovich said Snyder would give him inch-thick pamphlets on how to guard pick-and-roll and badger him until he read it all. ''He really thinks about the game,'' Popovich said. ''He communicates really well and he has a way about him that makes you feel good as you learn.''

Re: GT: Spurs vs. Jazz
I have always been a fan of the Jazz franchise. Too bad most of the history in Utah had Stockton and Malone who I absolutely hated with a passion. They are building an exciting team. The one thing I'm disappointed in is that Trey Burke hasn't played better. I was pulling for him being from Michigan.
