LOL at some spurs fans questioned Lamela before.

Dude is a pure talent.

Love the guy, but I think it's understandable that some questioned a record signing who couldn't get on the pitch, and when he did he was awful. I knew he'd prove his worth eventually. He's amazing, one of many great young talents on this Spurs team.

Luckily for Serie A Lazio got a free ticket for the next round, though.

Meh, they're not likely to go far in this

Why not? They have nothing to play for in Serie A and can focus on EL. A bit of luck in the draw and the semi final is possible although not likely.

Yea it'd require a lot of luck with the draw. I would like to see them get Liverpool, though.

Shame Napoli didn't start with their strongest lineup either match, but I can't blame them since they are almost a lock for CL next year. It's fair to say they are in a bit of a crisis now though.
Villareal defended brilliantly both games and I don't want to take anything from them.

So disappointed by Napoli's elimination. They were the best team in this besides Tottenham and BvB.
Of course Sevilla needs to be mentioned along with the rest of the Spanish teams.

I think you're the only team left in the tournament that genuinely frightens me. I want to see it purely for the spectacle, I feel like it would be end-to-end insanity.

I think Sevilla is the clear favorite to me, because of the recent history in this competition.

I hope Liverpool (not going to happen) or Dortmund wins the competition.

Sevilla do have the European pedigree and have been amazing in this competition lately. I think that Villarreal are the better team this season though, of the remaining Spanish clubs in the EL.

I know is almost imposible but i would like Athletic Bilbao win this.

They are the fourth biggest team in spain but they have had no luck in europe ever and their 30 year ( relevant) silverware drought is too much.

I like their " only home grown/national" talent aproach .

What they are doing is certainly impressive if you consider how small that basque region is.

And even more considering the biggest players end up walking out.

Add to that team the likes of Llorente, Azpilicueta , Xabi Alonso, Javi Martínez and they could even be a serious threat at La Liga.
