Thanks for the honesty.MorbidHEAT wrote:My dislike for Lin started during Linsanity. It was absurd. It's probably irrational dislike at this point, but man he gets on my nerves. He's been tearing us up though.

Re: hammer Hornets @ Pacers 2/26/2016
Gold: Kemba
Thought he played in that awesome speed sweet spot he has - a slightly slower pace than his max but still way faster than anyone else. His passing was great tonight, from the very start of the game and that game winning layup up was just beautiful.
Silver: Marv
I know he racked up the points but he really only got those shots because Kemba kept making the right pass and making it quickly. That said, Marv still had to knock them down, and know them down he did. He cleverly took advantage of his height advantage over Turner.
Bronze: Cody
Gusty effort, did some good things, needs to hit his FT's.

Gold - Kemba: I have to give it to Kemba for his hero ball (in a good way) in the 4th. He carried us on his back.
Silver - Marvin: Would normally have the gold locked up, and if the 2nd unit doesn't crap the bed in the late 3rd/early 4th we cruise to victory and Marvin gets the gold.
Bronze - Cody: He, Marv and Kemba were lethal on the pick/roll tonight.
others are lucky to escape a BF since we won.

Re: hammer Hornets @ Pacers 2/26/2016
OH I'm giving a BF tonight. More than one.
Gold Marvin. Kemba seems the obvious choice but points, presence, effort, rebounds, awareness were on a very high level from Marv. Love this guy
Silver Kemba. He played a more complete game. Didn't shoot a good percentage but made the shots that count. I like how he moved the ball and looked for guys this game. Very nice game and usual coming up big in the clutch.
Bronze Cody. Nice job.
BF. Big Al. Big Dud. Contrary to what some have said here Lin/Lamb played well the first half and Al did just the right amount of Alfense. 2nd half Al bogged everyone down, Lin couldn't find the right balance, Lamb started pressing, it was truly ugly. Al, the vet, has to play smarter than that. Don't expect good defense ever from him, but his decision-making and awareness were awful.
BF Batum. Butum can't just keep shrinking like he does. Ok, he's not clutch but he has to at least have some force towards the end of games and playing the big guys like LeBron and Paul George. Bad game from Batum.
Cliff: Got to take out Al when he bogs down the unit on the floor. I know Hawes is out but Al has to go. Sit Batum at the end if he's going to shrink. Closing lineup could have been Kemba, Courtney, Lin, Marv and Cody. Lin was somewhat skatey and sloppy and undersized, but he'll make that big play/shot toward the end of the game if Kemba isn't available. Good thing Kemba wasn't loaded on.
