Thats a pretty deep draft. 3 superstars, a few more borderline All-stars and 25+ guys still lurking as at least rotation players 6 years after.

Harden should be above Griffin but to each their own, you take either one and be happy.

The league passed him by so quick because of that. He is really good in every area except the one that teams covet the most now. And in that one area he is sown right atrocious. Amazing to see how a pick that was actually so good at the time becomes a huge mistake just years later.

Same with Roy Hibbert in how everyone coveted him and he dominated that ECF against the Heat and now he basically has zero value except trying to get you a top 5 pick just years later.

I wouldn't stop laugh if they get him and give him the max contract.

I also don't think Danny Green is considered a top 10 pick if he doesn't end up in San Antonio.

Sixers probably just messing with the Hawks.

Potentially interesting buy-out candidate:

@WojVerticalNBA
Minnesota guard Andre Miller is finalizing a buyout, agent Andy Miller tells @TheVertical. Miller wants to to sign with a playoff contender.

I am definitely into using some of our MLE on Miller.

Agreed.

I think he'd do wonders for Kemba's growth with court vision, passing and decision making.

So long as Kemba didn't take any shooting tips from him!!!

We don't need Miller, we have El Jornet.

If Lawson is bought out by Houston, would you like to use MLE on him?

Kemba / Lawson
Lee / Lin
Batum / Lamb
Marvin / Frank
Cody / Al

Hornets have their 3 pg's on roster and use all 3 in rotation

I think Lawson would be overkill at the PG position with both Kemba and Lin here. He might prove to be more of a distraction than a plus. I can't imagine he'd want to sign somewhere right now just to play the role of 3rd PG. And frankly, no way I would reduce Lin's minutes in order to make room for Lawson.

I know it's against the Lakers but it bears mentioning that Lance Stephenson looks like a basketball savant and PJ Hairston looks like a legitimate NBA starter.

Dang, JJ signing with the Heat......

I imagine Miller and Lawson would wanna go to a team that gives them more PT or ring possibility

Kemba and Batum were both in the NBATV studios in Atlanta tonight. I just caught the tail end of their segment.

He fell the other night vs. OKC and it looked like a serious knee issue but he survived that but now how do you hurt your toe in warmups? If someone stepped on him they may not have a job for long.

Combined, how many possible games could Davis and MKG have played for their careers?

How many have they actually played?

Has there ever been a #1 and #2 pick from the same draft who have missed as many combined games?

Quick look at BBallRef...the top 3 picks of the 2012 draft have missed a combined 230 of 910 games in their careers, that's 25%. Basically averages out to a full season each.

This year obviously killed MKG, but prior to that he was on pace to miss about the same amount as Davis, but Beal was well ahead of both. And Beal now plays with a minutes restriction at 22 years of age.
