Dosent suprise me at all,2 guys who the year befor were on the right path and thought they were meant for higher heights. Now there on a team who have regressed and same for their games (more so middleton, although he has bounced back some).Monroe thought he would leave the lowly pistons and join a PO team and thought his future would be brighter in mil, hasant worked out to plan, must be dishearting, when a team gives you the max and in the same season put you on the block.

I would love for stan to grab him, would be perfect for our backup pg role, and no,his problems dont scare me.

Thing is,there is always that 1 or 2 desperate teams, that will give more than worth.I could see the bucks looking at him hard, same for nyk.He is a free agent in 2017,so you get him for next season, and if he breaks out, will get paid.

Seems like det is the team were players no one else wants, because of problems, come and find their games again.I think ty would fit in great here and would feel the love from det in a genuine way.

Problem is Lawson had all season thus far to prove himself and breakout and he hasn't done it. Why should we expect anything different from him at this stage in the season? He's definitely talented and under the right system, he may be able to succeed. I just think it's a risk for any team to take him on. Detroit could use more depth, but they do have enough currently to make the playoffs. For me, the liabilities of Lawson outweigh any potential benefits.

He will play in a system that hes pretty perfect for, especialy on the 2nd unit. Also Det fans, have a way of making players (who other teams fans and media make feel like outcasts) feel at home and appericated for their bad boy imagine, sort of speak.Hes only 28,he is the only reason he hasant bounced back, not a declining game.

I'm willing to concede there's a chance he could do well in Detroit's system, but it's a risk. I agree he's the only reason he hasn't bounced back, and it's not a declining game or anything like that. But I believe that's a major red flag in itself. I just think the guy has too many personal problems at this time, and isn't worth the trouble. There's something to be said about Detroit making outcasts feel at home, but oftentimes it's players who are merely perceived as outcasts, and have positive traits that simply go unnoticed. I worry that Lawson really is a liability, and the fans and media have it right about him.

Just to clarify, Lawson will have been waived / bought out, so his 2017 team option will be gone since it was part of the contract that will have been cut short, right? And since I can't imagine him accepting a veteran minimum contract for the rest of this year ('cuz that's all he's gonna get) with a team option attached to it at that salary, he'll be strictly a rental for the rest of this season who'll be looking to improve his value before hitting unrestricted free agency in the summer?

All that said, at that price and needing an upgrade at back up PG for the stretch run (Steve Blake :noway: ), I'd probably roll the dice on him if he'd be willing to sign here. Why not? I don't buy that SVG would EVER allow him to even come close to disrupting our team chemistry and would just cut him at the first sign of trouble, so what've we got to lose?

I agree that I could be completely wrong, but if we can get him without it really costing us anything and if their was any player to take a chance like that on,ty lawson is definitly at the top of that list.Another reason I think this team would be good for him is the fact were right on the cusp.We have budding players and right on the verge of becoming one of the better teams in the league. The guy could come in and even if he only plays 20% better than blake,no one will really harp on the guy and that means alot less pressure. If he ends up shining, then thats a problem I will welcome lol.

I just think when it comes down to lawson (a guy with some personal problems who very recent was one of the better pgs in the league) to blake (needs no explanation),you take the gamble.

Awesome game with OKC v. GS. Feels like a pay per view or something seeing these teams go at it.

Oscar Robertson should apologize to Curry right now.

That was the best game of the entire season, bar none. Curry just killed the Thunder with a 32 35 footer.

Literally no player in history has had the green light as green as Curry has from anywhere on the perimeter.

Steph Curry is a ****ing goon.
I came here to do two things: get lost and slice **** up & I'm all out of directions.

And he just broke his 3 point record...again. and again.

And tied the most made 3s in a single game.

And is the first player in history to have back to back 10+ made 3 pointers.

We are witnessing history.

He is just now beginning to see 20+ FGA per game. 19.9 per game before tonight, a career high.

Jordan took 22- 28 per game every year for 12 years.

Last 3 games Curry has averaged a Jordan-rate of 25.5 FGA and he has put up 46.3ppg in 36mpg.

Curry is transcendent. The things he's doing right now, I think he's vaulted himself into top 5 peaks ever.

It's almost like watching Shaq-level dominance, but on the perimeter taking 30 footers instead of taking high percentage layups or dunking on people. He's unreal. I thought KD in his MVP season was something unbelieveable, or LeBron against OKC in the finals racking up multiple triple doubles, but this is something else entirely.

He plays the way I used to play 2k in my career mode. Just put max shooting ratings and then abuse pick and rolls to hit jumper after jumper against the CPU, but he's doing it in real life against NBA level defenders. It's unreal.
