We are definitely getting either the #1/#2. At this point #1 makes the most sense. Lakers had their chance and blew it.

I am probably just a pessimist as a Suns fan and I often joke we will probably end up picking outside of the top 10 somehow because I just feel the NBA hates us as a franchise.

Refs just give the benefit of the doubt to whoever plays harder and we certainly played much harder tonight.

Finally down goes Grizzlies in a grind-it-out game. First win since '12 I believe.

yeah so tonight, he is liked again... but next game he has a 6/4 game, he will be hated by some again.

People need to be patient with Len... who was merely a rebounder and shot alterer previously... he is just learning to be an offensive option.

If Len can be consistent like this next year, I believe

Bledsoe
Booker
PJ (they'll never get rid of him)
Simmons
Len

Bench
Knight
Chandler
Telly
Archie

isn't that bad.....

OMG...wtf?!! I am tired right now. With TJ, now I know I am not crazy. I don't think it is that bad.

This is a nice sign maybe he's finally turned the corner. Len goes from showing up once every month, to once other week to once every week. If he can maintain double double production for a month while going back to being an impact rim protector/strongside defender I may have to eat my words, but fat chance of it ever happening. Hopefully he stops pulling off his signature disappearing acts and can stay on the floor for extended minutes

I also think we can get a rotation player with the wiz pick. I have high hopes for bogdan too.

Not to be a downer, but that team is our current team (plus a rookie).

I don't think len and chandler together for huge minutes is the best way to go but the fact horechek didn't try it for 15 minutes or so a night from the beginning of the season is ridiculous. Hell I posted when they signed chandler that I didnt love the signing but was OK with it if the suns got creative and played them together some. The league is going small so why not zig a little while the rest of the league zags and go really big for stretches of a game. Don't get me wrong it's not just coaching that makes len inconsistent but I feel like it hasn't helped his progression; Jeff fell in love with ultra small ball and at times buried him.

Len. All we need is 2 out of 3 games with decent production. If he gets to 3 out of 4, I would be ecstatic.

The best thing we've done this season is get Booker and Len shots, same for Warren if he hadn't gotten injured.

Chandler complained earlier in the season (maybe 15-20 games in) about the guards not getting the centers involved. It's sad that our injured starters care more about their own stats and that these guys play so much harder without them. Chandler and Len seem to get way more looks and even care more about defense while playing without Bledsoe or Knight. I hope those guys, upon return, get them involved.

With all due respect to Chandler, it's the head coach's job to control his guards and make them give more touches to the centers.

Yes, so we will see if a new coach can control our two injured guard's tendencies.

I agree and it needs to continue not only this year but next year too. This can't be just a this year thing they need to play len booker Warren and new rookies and the other young guys big minutes next year too. And you know what they'll probably lose a bunch of games but that's fine because this team needs top end talent and one more lotto pick in 17 is a good thing.

I know I'm probably in the minority but because I want this commitment to young guys I'm actually cool just bringing Watson back next season. See how the young guys are progressing and make a decision on both mcd and Watson next sping. Makes more sense than letting mcd hire a new coach this summer.

Also, with no due respect to Chandler, he and Markieff were so unbelievably, disgustingly bad at that point of the season that our big guys had no freaking right to complain about not touching the ball. I'd have taken what he said more seriously if he had, you know, actually tried to hustle down the court or play defense. Same for Markieff.

And accidentally giving Goodwin and Booker minutes. You know they woudlnt be getting minutes if both Bledsoe and Knight staying healthy and Price sneaks in big minutes behind these 2 also.

Goodwin scoring 20 point games when given over 30 minutes comfortably is also a revelation. People forget he sat almost all season long and most of last season... He is younger than some top 10 projected rookies coming up.

With three players out who were top scorers (Bledsoe, Knight, Warren) ... Len and Booker getting major touches this year will help next year. With Bledsoe back and Markieff gone we are not the worst team in the league.
