Curry previously had the 2nd highest WS/48 of all time, behind only Kareem whose WS/48 is calculated with a different formula due to missing data.
After the OKC game, Curry now has a WS/48 of .34. Up to this point in the season, he is the current undisputed all time leader in one of the last remaining net metrics he didn't already lead in.

Pretty good NYT article comparing Curry to Gretzky and Ruth.

Re: The Stephen Curry Thread (2015-16 Pt. 1)
Recently discovered the thread and have been following along for the last 20 pages or so, curious if someone might have compiled some advanced defensive metrics for Steph vs his point guard peers? It seems his detractors commonly call out Steph's defensive prowess as a weakness, which is obviously not the case just from watching him cover opposing PGs, but I'm always interested in some objective data.
Saw a few of these categories mentioned in another Steph thread on the General Board, and added a few other columns from NBA.com/ESPN. Defensive RPM, play type tracking FG against and PPP for Isolations, Spot-ups, PnR as ball handler, and Steals/36Mins.
Any others folks can think of? Grabbed the numbers for the PG's most commonly mentioned as 'elite' or at least to draw comparisons against Steph, along with Kawhi:

All in all, Steph compares very favorably to any 'elite defender' PG in the league, particularly in Iso plays, which may be surprising given his lack in heft, or so it seems. And seeing how he has a tendency to gamble and reach, he covers Spot-up plays pretty darn well, too. Definitely confirms the eye test for me...
Heck, given how the GSW defense was #1 last year and between #2-#5 all this year, I'm surprised Steph doesn't get any consideration for the All Defense teams.
For reference, NBA All Defense 2015: Paul, Wall, 2014: Paul, Beverley, 2013: Paul, Conley, Bradley

It goes by reputation. Rubio not having an All-D yet is a travesty.
This place is a cesspool of mindless ineptitude, mental decrepitude, and intellectual lassitude. I refuse to be sucked any deeper into this whirlpool of groupthink sewage. My opinions have been expressed. I'm going to go take a shower.

Good stuff but you know that defense is more about reputation than actual production. For example, Rubio is clearly the best defender in the league at his position and really no one else is close this year, but you can bet that he will not even make the all defense second team. Instead they will vote for Chris Paul, like they always do.

Probably no Curry tonight. He and Iggy didn't participate in the shoot around this morning and are still listed as questionable. I don't believe they'll risk anything and let them both sit out this game. After all, they're up against OKC on Thursday again.

"We're not going to do anything crazy, obviously," coach Steve Kerr said of Curry "We'll err on the side of caution. But if he's healthy enough to go, we'll play him."
Also, if questionable means he can do this crap

Many times this season i've just been at a loss for words with curry, and sat night was definitely the pinnacle of it. SVP does a great job here putting that feeling into words.
[I abandoned regular SportsCenter years ago, but his new show is worth a tune in, mainly because of him.]

For JB is, because it helps him defends Jordan as no 1 peak season.

I don't know, winning in OT at home against a mediocre Hawks that required a Draymond prayer with the team shooting 39% didn't exactly look like the 55-win Jordan-less Bulls from here.
