  BENO, thanks for bowing down and kissing the Don's rings and becoming an sacrificial lamb in our journey to financial stability. You will always be remembered for your slick hair cuts and buyout. We wish you well.

Looking forward to him signing again this summer. He played well for us and took one for the team so that DWade didn't have to punch anyone out and get suspended.

Best memory was that game he looked like John Stockten versus the Nuggets. Had a great connection with Goatside. He deserves a spot on the roster next year. Hope to see him again. We Salute you Uncle Beno

Beno when it comes to buyouts, your the real MVP!

You've only been a heater for a small amount of time, but I already consider you a HEAT lifer the way Anthony Carter agent became one.

Now lets see if Philly takes him and we get Thorton also. This team still needs more shooting.

No need for this. He'll be back.

Liked him as a backup.

Would be a luxury to have as a 3 string PG.

Get healthy, Uncle Beno.

I mean the dude just reached into his pocket to help the organization when he had no real need to. Most players wouldn't do it.

Sure, there is a likely "understanding" that he will be back next year, either min or room exception, and potentially a post playing career opportunity in the organization. Which, whatever people say, isn't against the rules.

Oh yeah, I completely agree and I appreciate what he did. It's just that we normally make these appreciation threads when a player is gone. I don't consider him that way since I'm confident he'll be back.

It'd be great to have him back. He has starter quality and has been a great backup for us. He led the second unit very well and often stabilized games for us when we had one of our typical poor starts.

He'll be back. And he should be. He was our best pick'n roll ball handler along with Wade. Definitely huge value for 3rd string PG.

Kinda funny reading this thread now, I remember how we considered him a scrubdy scrub when we first got him, people acted like Rio was X100 better.

Let us never forget the lesson uncle thought us - don't judge a book by it's cover, and don't underestimate the importance of BB IQ.
