So I was riding my bikeshare over the 11th st bridge when this dude stops me and asks me to call this girl's number for him. There's no signal on the bridge and the call doesn't go through. So then the guy tells me to call 911 because he's going to throw himself off the bridge. Then he climbs over the rail and fastens his belt around it and sits and waits for the cops to get there.
Once the cops got there I took off so I don't know how it turned out. Dude was smiling the whole time so ... it was weird.
Was it bad that I took off?

Prince William police officer Ashley Guindon was killed in the line of duty on her first day of duty. She was just sworn in yesterday. That just sucks.

She was shot while responding to a domestic disturbance call near Woodbridge.

I can deal with the southern draw and poor grammar, but the things he says are just unintelligent and of no use in anyway, shape or form.

Why do TNT, TBS & CBS think he is enjoyable to hear, he is verbal nails on a chalkboard.

I love the disapproving/surprised looks he gets from kenny smith and Shaq when he says something he believes is controversial and he just sounds somewhat ignorant and uninformed. Its as if he ran his thoughts by no one. It is all impromptu.
I either mute, fastforward or turn channel when I see that rotund cranium spewing nonsense.

The one where all kickoff touch backs come to the 25-yard line is going to be counterproductive, IMO.

Now, teams are going to try to shorten the kickoffs to about the 5-yrd line to force a short return. The coverage will be swift and the collisions around the 10-15 yard line are going to be more violent than ever.

Teams are going to bank on kick coverage pinning opponents inside the 25. They will suffer MORE injuries on kickoffs, not less, IMO.
