Yes, this is worse. You can create videos about anything to make it seem like it's worse. I'm sure someone will be coming up with a Phil Jackson tribute soon.
Like I said, we have Porzingis. We never had anyone of that caliber under Isiah.
But keep over-exaggerating to prove a point.
We know the Knicks suck - they've sucked for a long time under Dolan.
At least will leave us with Kristaps when it is all said and done.
Am I over exaggerating last season? Am I watching a different team than you have been watching the last 20 games? What part of "worst season ever" are you missing? What part of "fans have never been like this, ever, in the Garden" are you not willing to see? And at this rate Porzingis will blow out his knees trying to do things to compensate for the sheer and utter lack of any talent (besides Anthony) around him?
Why are you complaining about a season that allowed us to draft high in the lottery and take Porzingis?
Would you rather we finish with 30 wins and draft mediocrity in the 8th spot, as we did for years?
Last year was a complete tear-down of the roster. I don't think anyone expect to win anything past January. Most people were rooting to tank and win the lottery. Looks like our terrible play finally paid off for something, which is something you can't say for past years.
I know people expected bigger things this season. I know this bad taste is much more recent than Isiah and any other era. But let's not change history and let's not exaggerate what is really happening. The truth of the matter is that Phil sucks because he is married to the Triangle and committed to hiring mediocre to terrible coaches who coach the Triangle. If he opens his mind up - which is funny that he doesn't since he's a zen guy - and hires Thibodeau then he will be fine. If he doesn't then he should get out tomorrow. But I don't entrust Dolan, Mills and Isiah to righting the ship. I think history speaks for itself there.
