Then last year almost got Kevin Love.... Then Aldridge.

The FO just under estimated the off court influences on the players.
They need to sell Phoenix as a home town again.

Or even Arizona college alumnis... Harden would be great to have.

Getting blown out by 40 by Hornets doesnt help though.

Look at the per 36 and assist % numbers. Compared to other rookies and Ish at the same age, he's doing quite well. Getting a rotation player late 1st is a win. He's easily a good backup PG and locked into a very small deal for years. That's worth a late first in this draft. Hell, that's worth a late 1st in any draft.
