I want to see him jack up a 3..LOL Like when the buildingis loud as Sh*t and we on a nice run and up by double digits. Then On the pick and roll he drops back behind the three and Wade or Dragic pass him the ball. He the launches a 3. I bet the rook would come off the stadium

This current Whiteside, with his outbursts under control, his FT shooting improving, his jumpshot showing up more, and his overall dominance, as well as continuing to set screens to open lanes

THAT is the Hassan Heat would give a max to. I didn't think they would before but if this keeps up, how can you not?

What would really put the icing on the cake for the Heat to give Hassan the max is if he shows some real dominance in the playoffs. I don't see why he can't either. He just has to be himself.

Durant though... seems to be frustrated with OKC in way, but doubt he still leaves. Depends how they do in the playoffs as well.

Whiteside has been worth a max for a while. The issue is like before its all on what Whiteside wants. Whiteside has improved dominated and yet still is a bench players who has to fight to get shots here. We want to keep JJ long term make him a starter from day one. People are free to infer what they want...
As for Durant he is taking a 1+1 contract then possibly leaving OKC but not before

So...he's shooting 83% from the stripe since the allstar break.

But if you take away the first game after the allstar break, he's shoot 91% from the free throw line!

This guy makes NO sense. This doesn't happen. Ever.

Winderman's article on Whiteside and free agency:
"[T]here also is a chance to emerge from shadows, Hall of Fame shadows these past two years with the Heat, a chance for some suitor to promise him that their team will become his team, as leading man.

"That'd be nice," Whiteside said as he sat by his locker after a recent game, the subject raised to him, not by him. "I feel like a lot of people want to be that. But I want to win more than anything. I don't really want to be the face of a losing franchise. You want to be a face of a winning program. And it's always easier to get people to come to Miami."

But then he added:

"It's going to be interesting," he said of his offseason. "The way I think now I might not think at the end of the season. I might have a different perspective. My perspective now is different than when I first came. A lot changed."

The fact remains is that we don't know what he's really thinking. Let's not act delusional and THINK he's happy coming off the bench, and dealing with a coach who plays favorites, when he's CLEARLY the second best player on this team. So Hassan haters and fickle ones, tell me how he's definitely staying. As a Hassan fan, i want him in Miami, the team i root for. BUT, i see BS and how he's been treated at times by the coach, teammates, fans, beat writers has been down right disgraceful. Green gets more respect than Hassan, just saying. July will be interesting though. :D My new sig is amazing, will post a different up every week.

C HASSAN WHITESIDE: 13.2 PPG, 11.7 REBS, 3.9 BLK, 24.98 PER
C DEANDRE JORDAN: 12.2 PPG, 14.1 REBS, 2.3 BLK, 20.8 PER

Yeah, Hassan is a glorified Deandre Jordan alright.

Whiteside and Deandre Jordan style of play isn't even similar at all. They are not the same type of player. Jordan is more athletic based, great vertical, mobile and can run the floor a bit better than Whiteside. I also think his bball IQ is a little better than Whiteside. Very limited outside of 5 feet though.

Whiteside is more of a skill based player; an offensive dynamo with a diverse repertoire: can shoot from anywhere on the floor, has great touch, dexterity, counter-ability, footwork & post moves around the basket. His game is more graceful and elegant. Thats why it's mind-boggling at times when he is underutilized on offense.

Hassan will never be a first option, not on this team not on any playoff team, He seems to accept it, even if his nuthuggers don't.

Not sure why you added their stats line, they just emphasis my point.

How does the stats emphasize your point, when Hassan is CLEARLY superior to Jordan? Going back reading old posts, you dislike Hassan for whatever reason and attack anyone who dares to take up for him. Hassan is currently making you and the rest of the hate brigade look like fools and will continue to do so. I have never seen people who claim to be a "fan" of a team hate on one of it's top players as much as you and your followers do. It's common for a team to have fans that stan for cetain players (like i do for Hassan, J Rich), so continue to be a kid and call us "nuthuggers" keep chasing that mod job Rex, one day you will get it.

RexBoyWonder hates Hassan? Check yourself.

He was the poster that was talking about him before you were a heat fan and before any of us knew who Hassan was and how we needed to pick him up. So if anything has changed in his opinion of him, it's likely Hassan's attitude pre-suspension. But he's talked about Hassan's potential ad nauseum.

I don't need to check myself, go back and read older posts in this thread and they are self explanatory. No need to come to his rescue KD, He can hold his on. P.s., please don't bunch me with the rest of the "fans", i knew who Hassan was coming out of Marshall. Was i a huge fan at the time? No, but you can't help but root for this guy considering where he's come from. Like i said, the only people that make a big deal out of Hassan's "nuthuggers" are the posters who hate him. Read this thread from the beginning and you will see what i mean by hate, and why i call some of these realgm "experts" fickle. I don't like going back and forth with people on here, which is why i hardly quote anyone who posts something negative about him. I say my peace and bounce. People hate when he has a good game because they know me and a few others are going to make mention of it and it makes them sick to their stomach.

No, I don't think I have to. Like I said, I'm willing to bet the only reason why he's gone sour on Hassan is because of Hassan's attitude, behavior and lack of professionalism; before his last suspension. This PC Hassan is a totally different person and player. Idk if you were here when he continually told us how much he'd help us if we picked him up. For him to say that Hassan is not a first-option is just an opinion. I don't think he's first-option yet either...but if he improves the weaknesses of his game like he scarily improved his ft% to alarmingly high levels, then the sky's the limit.

The all notion of Heat fans "hating" Hassan is just so moronic I don't want to even address it, it's just too idiotic on every level. It's borderline paranoia with some of the imagined "Hate".

Hassan Is doing a lot better lately, Obviously he made a mental adjustment after the Spurs ejection - everyone is prasing him for it including the players, the coaches and the fans - Personally I couldn't be happier, he's convincing Riley to keep him long term after it looked like we'll let him walk.

What lack of professionalism? Has he gotten into fights that the team had to hide? (GERALD GREEN) Has he badmouthed the coach/org to the media? Has he been arrested for off the court issues? Has he cursed the coach out on national tv? (D WADE) You all go to far with this lack of professionalism BS that Ethan was feeding you. Hassan hasn't done anything wrong since he's been here. He is fighting for a contract, he's hungry, so if he pouts on the bench, for lack of playing time and touches then so be it. You have to understand where he's coming from, now while i don't condone it, i understand it. That flagrant 2 foul was questionable and almost all f2 fouls get suspension now a days.
