Well, I didn't think anyone would actually double check it....

Its OK, the announcers didn't check either

Also, have this:
Russell with the Curry to ice the game

Yeah but he does that all the time. Marcelo is the human victory cigar.

So glad Dlo is establishing himself as a scoring stud. I still don't get people doubting his game coming out of OSU.

He's confident, he's comfortable, and its gonna get scary. Like I said before same thing happened at Verde and OSU. Just needs to figure out the level he's playing at.

It helped that both Kobe and Lou Williams were out. This is what it's going to be like for Russell next season. He and Clarkson have developed nice chemistry with each other and neither one really dominates the ball.

Byron Scott also did a little coaching for the first time ever, and installed some sets from the motion weak offense (what the Spurs run). Russell is a perfect fit for the modern NBA.

Russell with 17/3 at halftime on 6-12......missed a couple free throws and obviously not as hot from three, but looking good again. Had a contested three, made a jumpshot while getting fouled (missed the free throw), and hit a tough floater to end the half after a run by the Nuggets.

Have his minutes/role been increasing after the Harris trade? Also how is his defense looking? Nice statline....I think he was definitely held back by Harris before and I expect more of this to finish the season.

Less with the Harris trade but more with the Fournier injury, he's starting now and has looked better with the starting unit. Defense is better than it was early on in the season, still needs to gain weight and not get beat backdoor and little things like that, but slowly improving all season.

Obviously it's still way early, but not only is this draft really good, but it's also deep, and has talent in every position. This draft in it's prime can form the best team of all draft teams. Maybe it's hard to beat 84, 96, and 03 due to the amazing legends that came out of those drafts, but in terms of forming a balance team, a team of all these guys in their prime would be scary; (starters off the top of my head, not who I think the best rookie at that position is)

Russell/Mudiay/Payne
Booker/Hezonja
Winslow/Johnson
Porzingis/ WCS/ Portis
Towns/ Okafor

I mean...that's a scary lineup. It has everything; defense, shooting, passing, scoring, size, athleticism, depth .

Scarier when you replace Portis with Turner

And since its still their rookie years we haven't even seen the guys from the later part of the draft get to shine yet. Theres usually always a select couple of late 1st/2nd round players who don't play in their first year but end up being steals.
