Right now hes like a more slender/mechanically advanced Ed Davis with higher upside coming out two years younger, I see more Jermaine O'Neal than Bosh in him if he can reach his ceiling. He has polished footwork, is an ambidextrous finisher so he can go strong with either hand , has a go to baby left hook and can hit the turnaround jumper from 15 feet out. I like how some of you are ragging on Brown for not being a sharpshooter, while excusing Ellenson's abysmal 28% from beyond the arc, he is supposed to be a floor spacing Stretch 4 who will probably have to move to center if he wanst to make it in the NBA

I certainly wouldn't take Ellenson at #3 either. But if we did take him somewhere, like at 6th, I wouldn't mind it since I trust McD's scouting, and he fits a positional need while also being a good rebounder and shot blocker.

Do you even Remember Frye in college? He was nothing like the player he turned into.

Well yeah he was an all around big with high expectations before turning into solely a pick n' pop threat,at UofA he did more than spotting up on the perimeter but he didn't have a semblance of a post game. Rabb isn't a stiff though

I pity the FO that takes Ellenson ahead of Rabb. Pretty sure Henry couldn't guard me...

Like I said earlier, I'd take Juancho Hernangomez before him him, if the Wiz picks isn't in the lotto and ends up being late teens

I'm not sure how much scouting you do, but DX and ESPN, who do quite a bit of scouting and go to many of the same workouts and games as scouts, have Ellenson at 8th and JH at 29th (DX) and ESPN has Ellenson at 5th and JH at 52nd.

I know you that the white guy reverse bias, but this is a bit excessive.

All that being said, I'm pretty enamored with Marquese Chriss and would probably lean his way.

Ok fine I'll meet you half way, wouldn't mind Ellenson with our second pick but no the first Top 6 pick

Based on what I've read and seen, I think right now if we draft at 3 and late lotto I'd take Bender and Chriss. We are two deep everywhere else, and you get one of the more raw athletic guys in the draft with a ton of upside, is a great finisher and face up game in Chriss. Then you have Bender, high boom/bust but can perhaps play some 5 in the future. Both with ton of upside and a little insurance by having both too.

Neither did Amare at the same age. Butler too. Guys can develop jumpers if they spend the time on it.

Brown or Bender at 3. Take whoever is left at 4.

Gotta go BPA with a top pick. Brown's potential is impressive. Great body, super athlete and attacks the rim well. He does look like a Justice, except better athlete and more potential on offence.

If we take Brown, can we have TJ or him as a smallball 4? TJ would destroy opposing 4's with his faceup game.

What makes you think Brown has more offensive potential than Justice?

Say no to Brown.

Rabb is probably a lower ceiling role player good for a contender, not so much for a swing from fences bottom team.

That played out at the end just like the last game against Cal, except they made that shot at the end to win by 1. Nice comeback by Cats. Yeah, Brown..if tonight is any indication of how good he is, I'll pass.

Jaylen Brown: 2-9, 5 pts, 1 assist, 1 rebound, 3 turnovers, 5 fouls, offensive foul that at the end that probably cost them the game.

Just factual about Rabb.

He shoots about 80% of his FGs within 10 feet.

Our PFs in Morris, Teletovic, Leuer all took outside shots.

Rabb will need to show McDonough he can hit a reliable 16 footer to keep the lanes open.

That loss could've been debilitating as the tourney is nearing. Great D and Gabe with the clutch shots. Beat Stanford and get a BYE.

I'd be ok with Rabb with our second pick, but I think Marquees Chriss is more of a swing for the fences guy with his athleticism. I wanna think Amare with more range eventually....but yeah, I know that's pushing it...
