Hawes just went up 100 notches in my eyes. His favorite song before a game is one of my all-time favorite songs - This must be the Place by the Talking Heads

Psycho Killer is my fave Talking Heads tune, but This Must Be The Place will do.

I feel like someone should be talking a little bit about how fun its been to watch Spencer Hawes play this month, Including laying someone out so hard with a screen that Eric Collins referred to the '80s detective show Spenser:For Hire.

Nothing new from shootaround, but if you're looking for Spencer Hawes it's going to be awhile. He can't even practice right now #Hornets.

Always something.

Maybe my proudest moment on this board. I thought it went unnoticed until BigSlam quoted me.

what exactly happened here? I have the urge to say "Haweswitdaball da bang a dang diggy diggy" out loud anytime I see the thread title, yet just realized that I have no idea about the origins of it.

I hope Clifford has the balls to cut Al from the rotation when Hawes gets healthy.

absolutely glorious thread title. good work, ladies and gents.

also my favorite TH song is probably anything off Remain In Light before Once In A Lifetime. it's crazy to think how that album kinda deflates as soon as their most popular song happens (with the huge exception of Houses in Motion).

incidentally for talking heads fans I highly recommend giving a listen to this guy's 5.1 downmixes of the original masters, which are sorely lacking IMO. it was truly a revelation when I heard them for the first time, I could not believe my ears. there were sounds I had never heard before! http://www.sharoma.com/eclectic_ril.htm

I just listened to some of the 5.1 mix of More Songs About Buildings..., the Youtube version. You are correct, amazing sound. I can't imagine what the actual FLAC files sound like if the YouTube version sounds that good.

I wonder at what point we have to start worrying about changing "when" to "if".

I don't even think he's injured. I think he's just hungover/depressed from watching all these Republican debates and seeing Trump all the time.
