If he can't even put up 18ppg in the less talented European leagues, how is this guy gonna get off the bench in the NBA?

It seem Zoron Dragic was more dominant overseas but couldn't do jack squat for the Suns.

I'm just not impressed by Bogdan's numbers. :/ What am I missing?

Only 1 guy averages over 18ppg in Euroleague and the Turkish league. (De Colo in Euroleague and Clay Tucker in TBL)

Bogdanovic doesn't even average 10 shots per game.

He needs to stay in Europe next season if he wants to get a bigger contract in the NBA than the rookie contract (he was #27 in 2014)....so probably he will not play for us until 2017.

Bogdan plays in one of the top contenders for Euroleague title, last year's final four participant. We're talking about European basketball, with 8 minutes shorter games, less possessions, lower pace... You won't see a guy shooting 18 or 20 field goals a game regularly. Especially not in biggest, contending teams like Barcelona, Real Madrid, Fenerbahce, CSKA, Olympiacos.

Bogdan hasn't been given the role of first violin (like Sandro gentile in Milano, for example, he was putting over 16 attempts per game in his 6 EL games), averages just around 8.5 fga's this season. He's just a peace of the team's puzzle and has to do many 'small things' on court.

My opinion, again, is that this current of events is much better for the Suns, as we all know that he'll be a role player, not some kind of second, let alone first option in our offense. He is currently fitting the mold that PHX is most likely to use when he comes to NBA.

Why don't you ask Kristaps Porzinigis who was putting up 11 ppg on a sub .500 team. It's not an apples to apples comparison.

Hell Brandon Ingram who is considered one of the top prospects based on his scoring ability isn't event averaging 18ppg in a far less talented league than what Bogdan plays in.

This guy has lots of promise - hitting big boy shots as seen twice in this thread. Not an everyday thing for such a young guy in europe, that for sure. He will need some OK minutes when he comes over. Hope he can bulk up a little bit and play some 3 as well.

Well, Ekpe Udoh averages at least 1 travel per game, so they're definitely calling it much more than the NBA but they just missed that I guess.

His skill set overlaps with Booker a ton.

You mean he is high IQ player with great shooting? I don't find that a problem.

I think you can have more than one of those on a team.

Cant wait for Bogdanovic to come over.

Has the size and skill set to be that X factor player.

You rarely see plays like this in Europe. He missed two practices and played with sore knee btw.
