Wiz at Cavs Game Thread

Post#1 » by dlts20 » Fri Mar 4, 2016 8:14 pm

Idk if it's a true break but Love is out. With his role and recent struggles, idk if it will be easier or harder for us to beat them. The thing about it is i don't think they have a real backup for him except Frye but he didn't even play last game so will he start or will they go big with Mosgoz who will probably make it a more clogged up defensive game or will they go small with RJ or Shump who will make it a more wide open offensive game.

All in all it will probably come down to a guy like Temple who will probably start again. If he can hit a couple of wide open 3's it will be big but if he's 1-7 in 24min again then we are in trouble. Also will be interesting to see Beal, Anderson, Nene's minutes since its part of a b2b

Love being out doesn't matter imo.. I don't even really notice him when we play the Cavs. He's no LBJ

I would say it helps more than it hurts because Frye has been pretty terrible defensively, although knowing the Wizards luck Frye will get hot from 3 in this one.

Anyone think the Cavs will throw this one because they don't want to face Chicago (with a healthy Butler) in Round 1?

Tonight will be a good barometer to see if this team is serious about making a playoff push. Wall always seems to show up when the lights are on so I expect a huge game from him. I'm really interested to see what we get out of Morris and especially Beal...or if the last game was his usual once a month decent performance. Want to see more AA and much much less of Temple. MUCH LESS!!

Nah. I don't think so. Certainly, it's too early to be playing Pick the First Round Opponent. Cleveland is only 2 games ahead of Toronto. I suspect their primary goal is to maintain home court through the Conference Finals.

Glad to hear Butler will be back for the playoffs -- if the Bulls *make* the playoffs! As injured as they are. But, if you are conceding the #8 spot to Chicago, does this mean you think we won't make the playoffs? Nah....

That's what people said last time we played them. I was like no way. Its way too early. There is like 8 teams just a few games apart. Anyone can end up anywhere

LeBron at the 4 with Shump starting. That's what I was scared of. It will be feast or famine with LeBron vs Morris and they will put Shump on Wall. This is going to be exciting. I think Wall cooks him

No. Too far out to be considering tanking for playoff positioning at this stage. That wouldn't come into play until the final week or so, if at all.

Also I would much rather play Chicago than us if I were them.

Alan Anderson is a bigger loss for us than Kevin Love is for them.

Horrendous shooting so far other than Wall.

Randy is a **** moron. Why is Beal running the offense with Wall on the floor?

Of course, LeBron took five steps on that dunk.
