Nothing crazy in terms of news, but it almost sounds as if we'll dump him for anything (or nothing at all), which may even lead to a buyout post deadline if he's not dealt.

The Indiana Pacers are actively shopping Chase Budinger and working with his camp to find a better fit before the NBA trade deadline, IndyStar has learned.

Budinger has averaged 4.5 points and 2.5 rebounds this season. He joined the Pacers last summer as part of a trade to help bolster the team’s wing depth, but has since been lost in the rotational shuffle. However, moving Budinger, who makes $5 million this season, could be complicated due to his salary. Therefore, the Pacers may need a third team to help make the deal by Thursday's 3 p.m. deadline.

I don't see a "better fit" out there since I don't see a team that would give him anymore minutes than we have. No playoff team should really have him in their rotation and he wouldn't get any time on a lotto team.

If he gets bought out I'm not sure anyone even picks him up as there should be enough better options that were bought out.
