over here the fans was 50/50 about the karl signing, i would have preferred thibs myself because of the style of play that fits our best player..but on the other kings site, a lot actually welcomed the addition.. karl did a good job in selling his name to kings fans back then when we had corbin as an interim coach, on twitter kings fans were flooding twitter about signing karl during that span..

It was a split crowd, which is what I said. You said: so was the karl signing..everyone loved it at first lol.

False.

on this site it was a split crowd, but we barely have 15 kings fans here lol.. on other sites and twitter, there was actually a lot of fans that pushed for hiring karl after dealing a rough season once again.. a lot/most and not everyone should have been used on my first post. :D

On twitter it was pretty split as well. I didn't crusie other sites and take a count but I know of the people I associate with we were all over the place from...this will be the greatest thing for us to...he could help us to...this is wrong and we should have kept Malone.

Most of the Kings defensive woes come when defending pick and roll so all the guards are susceptible due to that being more team oriented coverage, but individually Darren can consistently keep players in front of him 1 on 1. He even did it multiple times tonight. The others are almost instantaneous blow by's and while it's probably a bigger liability than it should be do to Karls individually reliant schemes it's a major negative regardless that has to be addressed this summer.

Yup and Ben did it on several time tonight and in the past as well. But guess what, he also got blown by a few time and so did DC. DC ISN'T a good defender.

He's solid, and getting blown by a few times doesn't make you a bad defender. Getting blown by with little resistance almost every time does. That isn't him by a long shot.

Agree to disagree because I don't think that's a great description of DC's defense or all that is a barometer of a good defender but I can tell we won't convince one another.

I think we're at the point of calling a spade a spade with Ben..

After three years I thought he might be a player after the patience we had..

Return to Sacramento Kings
