Endoh was great. Very good dribbling skills and IQ. Especially compared to lovitz. Man he was atrocious. What was he thinking??

How do you feel about Endoh now after seeing him play?

Great win for TFC against one of the top MLS teams on the road.

I would have been happy with 1 point, but to get all three is just gravy. We are going to have a tough few weeks on the road, so a few more games like this will help.

Giovinco had a rough game up top all alone, so getting that penalty kick will help his spirits.

-Great Dribbling
-Great Decision making (especially when pressured)
I see him more as a CAM, CM, or CF maybe a winger not a Striker. Good debut.

Great Debut. Am stoked to see what he does moving forward. Lovitz game was horrible. They kept pushing down his flank all game. I like Ashtone Morgan there much more, although he isn't as good with the crosses. Rollin' down the street smokin' endoh!
I believe in Masai.

Both well said.

I think Endoh looked lost at time, and out of position, but overall it's hard to complain about that debut.

Way less pressure on him once Jozy returns too.

Great win and 3points on the road! Defense withstood a lot of NY pressure and looks improved from last year. Agree about Lovitz, he was garbage. Delgado came on and did well I thought.
Liked the look of Endoh as well, kid could be good.

Guys do you think that Vanney should use a 5 at the back lineup? My reasons:

-Giovinco- this guy can make something out of nothing.
-I know that the defense is strongly improved from last year but there were lapses in defense against NY, lucky bounces that could have gone the other way etc.
-you have good CDMs in Cheyrou and Johnson, Osorio no disrespect should probably be a super sub rather than a starter imo

Thoughts?

I prefer 4 at the back, 5 at the back is too negative although could be used in certain road games, maybe even yesterday. I wouldn't want us to use a back 5 on a regular basis though.

5 at the back is too many, and will just become too congested. Especially on smaller fields like NYCFC next weekend.

Let's wait and see how we look with Jozy back in the lineup. He'll help hold the ball up more often in the deep midfield, where Giovinco can create. Last week with Seba up front alone the defense didn't have a big enough target to move the ball up field.

Then what would you say? focus more on midfield presence once Altidore comes back? Have Giovinco as a CF and Jozy as the lone Striker ?

We need to remain focused on the back line during this long away stretch, but yes like last season I would have Giovinco play behind Jozy simply because he's a bigger target and holds the ball up well.

I also would like to see Bradley play higher up the field at times, but I can understand why they want him to remain back more often. His crisp passing was sorely missed in the first game.

Ye I didnt know why they had Johnson play more as of a CAM when hes really a CDM but I guess last week they had to improvise.

The size of the field at Yankee Stadium is a joke. Forgot how small and congested it was

The penalty was deserved, but the missed handball is going to ruin my Sunday.
