Always an epic showdown when these two teams meet.

The Timberwolves shot a team-record 68.4% in their last game. This is not a game to overlook, not with all that young talent that could take off at any moment.

I actually like how we match up against them. Zeller is probably more suited to guarding KAT than most centers in the league, Lavine vs. Lee doesn't really scare me. Wiggins might be a tough cover for Bats. Should be a fun game to watch regardless.

EDIT: For some reason I thought they were starting Lavine now at 2, but the depth chart shows a wiggins/prince wing.

EDIT of my EDIT: Last game they rolled out Rubio, Lavine, Wiggins, Towns, Dieng. Their lineups seem to be all over the place.

This should be a blow out . Minny is not good( one of the 5 worst teams in the NBA) and the hornets need to keep pushing & building momentum.batum should have a monster game

All the young talent in the world, none of the consistency. We could be in for an absolute dogfight or a blowout (in our favor), impossible to say which. I'm just hoping the guys come out focused after these rest days and take care of business at home.

Thank Sam Mitchell for that. He's been alternating LaVine and Prince in the starting lineup since the AS break, though Zach has started the last couple. I guess it depends on if Mitchell feels like he needs more offense (Zach) or defense (Prince). Or maybe it depends on what Mitchell ate the night before, who knows.

The vibe right now seems high energy. The last time I felt buzz like this was during the final stretch where the Bobcats pushed for the playoffs in Clifford's first season. Just listening to the players and broadcasters, journalists and coaches, you can sense the excitement.

I'm skipping Monday night hoops in order to watch the game live tonight. Don't make me regret it Hornets.

I do wonder how much better we'd be in a wide open East had MKG stayed healthy. He was excellent when he came back. I'm happy Lee is here and they found a way to take PJ off the floor. The team has really good discipline, organization and stability from lineup to lineup. Not a lot of weak links out there.

Well the three point line is not being defended, just a matter of us hitting our shots.

Hornets need to keep launching threes against this Wolves team because chances are they won't defend it.

Rick Bonnell ‏@rick_bonnell 59s60 seconds ago Charlotte, NC
Four of the @hornets' six shots so far have been 3s. They have made one of those. Perhaps let the ball touch the paint?

AT least we all agree. :-?
