Well I stand by my quote, With Bosh wand Wade here, Hassan role was never going to be being "the guy". Never. Even now without Bosh he's still probably a 3rd option, not close to a Duncan type usage.

Rex, i know you like Hassan, a blind man can read that. However, your comments were premature and out of line regarding his character and play. I mean we all make bad judgements at times. And regarding me hating Dragic, yes everyone know i'm not really a Dragic fan, he's soft and i don't like him and i feel he's overpaid. Wade, i have not said anything negative about, maybe i commented about his awful shot selection at times but i'm not a Wade hater. He's the reason i became a fan. In closing, you weren't the poster i was orginally ref to, i just happened to use your post as the first example in my sig. I welcome the debates about players, it's fun to me so it's whatever! I've been on Realgm 10 years, and posted on different team forums, i like basketball, i love playing it and discussig it, so their's no shame in my game. But I don't appreciate people trying to portray me as things Im not, especially as an Hassan Hater when the truth is I've been analyzing, following, hyping and talking about him more them 99.9% of the board, including the poster that keeps trying to throws shade at me and spoil my Hassan fix.

I knew about him because he was on the Kings about 5 years ago, but *never* played. It's probably Keith Smart's connection that first put the Heat onto Hassan.

By the way, about the post, I am wrong about a lot there, but I still think Seth Curry and Manny Harris could be helpful. Seth plays really well for the Kings but never gets PT. He's a good shooter, but it's his defense that is his best asset. He gets steals all the time. Manny Harris can score. I'll just go to my corner now.

Also, I happen to believe Dragic's contract is pretty damn good. You do realize the salary cap is about to go to $92M in July? Dragic was signed as a less-than-max player on a $63M salary cap. So how exactly is Dragic's contract bad?

That's wayyy down the line, the first Hassan discussion went on in 2011 when we got murdered inside and Pittman wasn't the answer, and Hassan was considered a bust but some posters saw some potential there.

Don't think any of us believe the potential was THIS high. Don't even think our scouts believed when we signed him.

He'll don't think Whiteside himself believed he'll put 18/15/4 (post all-star) in the NBA in 2016. It's a total fairy tale story.

I don't think those current numbers are sustainable, but even 16/13/3 is elite for a Center that can defend. So much so, that pluging Bosh back at Center becomes a real question mark.

And about Dragons contract - we've been saying this from day1, even when he struggled :

1. He's a winner. He's a team player. National team, limited role, whatever. It was all over his career.
2. With the huge cap jumps, his contract will look great soon.

Soon turned out to be 3 months later, and just wait until Mike Conley get's a 140 Mil contract this summer.
