I followed the game online as usual. We had a tight 1st half and I thought that's how this game would end up. I was pleasantly surprised that we ran away with the game in the 2nd half. Great to see that Chris and DeAndre had monster games. DJ just wanted to stick it to the Mavs :D
I've been an LA Clipper fan since 1998 and that will never change. I hate our new logo and jerseys!

I'm not convinced that the referees have started to warm up to the Clippers. There still seems to be some animosity between the two groups. Remember that the Clippers still lead the league in technical fouls and are tied with the Bucks and Heat for player ejections (all teams have four a piece). Blake Griffin and Dwight Howard are tied with 2 ejections this year.

The only way the animosity stops, and for the refs to regain their trust in the Clippers, is if Chris Paul and Doc Rivers get ejected from a game this year. Those guys will be the most difficult to get thrown out. Both Doc and Chris have "Phil and Kobe" status, if you know what I mean.

And let's not forget, Clippers are 1-3 in games where their own teammate is ejected.

Well we do have to admit that Blake is one of the biggest instigators with the refs on the team. CP does talk a lot, but he doesn't have the same rage type outbursts that Blake could have. Sometimes you understand Blake's anger though, he'll get beat up and won't get calls he should get, but he does have a shorter fuse than most guys on the team. He's generally been the guy on the team leading in technical fouls, so I wouldn't say it is surprising that the team is getting fewer techs with Blake out.

for us, yes it does.

we should get out of the first round either way, but we have beaten Spurs recently. we have a better chance to get to WCF being a third seed. we have never been at WCFs, and it would mean the world to get there as it would validate keeping this core for a few more years whereas if we are the 4th seed and can't get out of the second round, surely Big Ole Steve will break up the core and start over.

to me, our ultimate goal maybe the championship, but the minimum bar we must pass to keep the team together is our franchise's very first WCF birth. being the 3rd seed could fix that odd greatly.

i get where your coming from. but few things
1) i do think we make push for kd this summer (we got money dnt need to trade blake)
2) i really dont think gs is winning the title this year and we match best vs them. beating gs in 2nd round will be big boost toward the title.
3) spurs arent the same team. they under radar and they still the spurs end of day. they only few games behind gs

^We don't actually have money for KD without trading one of the high contract players on this team

just came home from Camelback Ranch, AZ and didn't see this until now, but yeah if we want to get KD, as everyeone has said already, we probably would have to trade Blake in a sign and trade with OKC. I don't really see that happening as KD has no incentive to sign and trade when he can join a contender as a FA without weakening his new team's roster, a la Carmelo.
ehhhhh f it.
