Boston and Phoenix are value picks. I'm not as high on Bender as others. Either team could opt for Bender, but I personally don't rate him that high.

Hey sorry I missed your post until now.

Reasoning for Dunn is that I see him as the value pick at three. I would then see them trading him for a big man (likely not a rookie).

I also then have Korkmaz to address the Celtics three point shooting woes (third worst in the NBA this year). I can see the argument against Stone, but the Celtics play such effective defense from the outside in, I feel they are better positioned to benefit from a guy like Stone than a team without defensive ball hawks.

Regarding Bender, he's not very athletic and physically, I see him getting pushed around until he add some bulk to his frame. Considering you already have an unathletic and weak big man in Olynyk, I don't quite see the appeal. I also think Bender has high bust potential.

I do agree with you that the Celtics are unlikely to take on four rookies in this draft. I have them trading the 3rd pick, and a guy like Zizic who will not come over this year might be a good choice for a later pick as a stash. Zubac intends on playing in the NBA next year.

Yes Bender has high bust potential, but his upside is also huge. I don't know what you mean about him being Unathletic, I mean granted I seen 20 min of him playing, but I seen him take the ball up the court himself and he has quick feet, both things that KO could never do. And yes bender at 19 will get pushed around, I don't expect much out of him next year when he is only 19, the followin year.

Dunn would require losing one of the points we already have. I don't get the point of the kings havingg Cousins and drafting WCS, I don't understand the sixers drafting okafor when they already have Emblid and Noel. How many years in a row are the celts going to take a PG? Smart, then rozier and now Dunn?

I like Korkmaz (sp) also and I would be OK with taking him at 16, he add length and an outside shot. But I would hte to lose on both the Euro bigs going 17-22. And Stone just does notfit the way I think Stevens wants the game played in the post.

I think Bender would be a subpar athlete against NBA players from my vantage point, unless you're talking coordination as opposed to running/jumping ability. His game is below the rim, his jumping ability is unimpressive, and his foot speed is average.

I have the Celtics taking Dunn third because I believe Dunn will be selected either by the Celtics and immediately traded away or the pick itself will be traded on draft day for the 3rd pick, following which another team would select Dunn third.
