40th anniversary book about the show, thats awesome. The fact that the recording for this show is in the Library of Congress is proof if its magnitude. I had never heard about the snow before, that just makes the story so much cooler.

Ask any Dead Head who knows their stuff to list the top 3 shows by the Dead, and unless they are just trying to be a unique hipster, they will almost always list these 3 shows (in some order):

2-13-70 Filmore East
8-27-72 Venetta, Oregon
5-8-77 Cornell

Every Dead Head has those dates memorized.

@Joest2003 I got my PS4 this summer. So far I have played Last of Us, Fifa16, Far Cry 4 and Fallout 4. All are excellent. Last of Us really is a must play if you didnt get to it on PS3. Far Cry 4 really just like 3, good but nothing mindblowing, I still havent finished. I'd just go straight to Far Cry Primal instead. Fallout 4 really has me hooked at the moment, even though its just like the others. Witcher 3 is next on my list of games to play. Waiting on Mass Effect and Tomb Raider next fall. Gonna play Fallout now.

Bunch of dude bro games! I'm playing Borderlands, Handsome Jack collection right now. I was a Fallout 1 and 2 purist, hated 3, New Vegas was great, didn't care for 4 in the few hours I've played it

Update on my Wegner's. Welp, out of the hospital now. Can't work- but at least I have my family with me right now. My friends have been incredibly supportive as well.

Seems like its been a great run for the Hornets while I've been dealing with this BS- maybe I ought to visit the hospital more often.

Hang in there Penguin. We are all rooting for you. I hope they televised the Hornets in the hospital.

Olde Meck and NoDa Brewing are spearheading the fight to change beer distribution laws in NC, really hoping they are successful because the current model is just dumb.

Farcry3 is still one of my all time favorite. The scenery and graphics were out of this world. I'm gonna give primal a try next. Lately I just been playing nba2k16. I been addicited to the "my park" portion of the game. After you build your my player up a little bit you can go to these parks with 8 courts and play against other people online. They have half courts for 2 on 2 or full for 3 on 3 and 4 on 4. So sick. Me and my boys play 3 on 3 all the time it's really fun. You should check it out we could play together.

Has anyone played the Witcher 3? Debating getting it or Fallout 4 as my next pickup. Mycareer on 2k gets a little stale when you've played it as much as I have.
