What's Devin Booker's ceiling?

Does he have that "superstar" potential that kids like Towns, Porzingis etc have?

Most impressive thing about Booker is that he's doing all this at the age of 19 while playing with a mostly D league caliber roster. Warren and Bledsoe are both IR'd and Knight has been out forever and just came back today. Only other real impact players on the team are Len, Teletovic and Chandler.

He's also had couple of double digit assist games as well. His passing is what's surprised me the most quite frankly. His playmaking ability for a 19 year old SG is absurd.

Obviously I'm biased so what does any of you who has seen him play think?

Lets see 34, 32, 27, 35, in four of the last 5 games at 19 and not backing down from Matt Barnes nor Lance Stephenson.....I'd say prime Reggie Miller.

Honestly I think he can be like James Harden. Not free throw wise, but his ability to create for others is pretty good. It's unfortunate that the return of Brandon Knight might cut into that. He will have more responsibility on offense than Klay (in terms of being a facilitator) though, and presumably he'll end up being able to take more shots off the dribble than Ray Allen.

I could see him putting up 27/5/5 at his peak

What's surprised me recently is his ability to get to the rim. He was seen as a one trick pony coming out but would've displayed more if he didn't go to UK. I definitely think he has some Ray Allen ability but it's too early to call him a perennial all pro lock.

I want to see him get significant minutes with a healthy Bledsoe.

Isn't Klay Thompson the obvious choice?

I think him and Dangelo are going to have some good battles for years to come in the western conference. His ceiling i'd say is Reggie Miller. More likely i'd say Klay Thompson. But it's hard to tell cuz he's the only guy who can score on his team and is playing a lot of minutes. Don't think that is sustainable over the course of an 82 game season. He needs to bulk up and work on his defense(as do most young guys). Post game would be nice too. He's definitely on the right track to be one of the top players in this draft class, better than KAT I doubt it. Better than KP and DLo, it's definitely possible.

He kind of reminds me of a Thompson/Harden hybrid.

Better version of Klay with a lot more ability to create off the bounce.

Was wondering how he's scoring so many points, and then realized he's averaged 39.6 mpg in his last 5 (wtf is this 2003?). I mean, 44mpg in a blowout against Denver, just wow.

I guess he is the first player in history besides LeBron James to score 30+ points in back to back games since LeBron james (as a teenager).

Here are the two vids (not in OP):

People saying ray allen or klay T are wrong. He is his own. He is faster then people think can create his own shot and is only 19. He WILL be a star.

He's the best prospect that the Suns have had since Amare. Seriously, I don't think any of us have been as excited about a young player since 2002.

Isn't he the closest thing to steph in the league? At least in comparison to what steph was like as a rookie

His shot is pure money. I'd say Reggie Miller or Ray Allen, still hard to tell at this point with the supporting cast he has and minutes he's playing.

I like the klay thompson/ Harden hybrid comparison. A knockdown shooter, who can score off the dribble, get to the rim and dish out crisp passes.
Imo a lot will depend on work ethic and what his role will be with bledsoe and knight back in the lineup.
So many people who attain the heights of power in this culture—celebrities, for instance—have to make a show of false humility and modesty, as if they got as far as they did by accident and not by ego or ambition.
