We can't play around and go from 3 to 5 or 6.
If we can't land a top talent in this draft, this season and the embarrassment that is coming with it, could wind up being a waste.

It is what it is. It can't be a waste, for it wasn't done on purpose. I really can't remember having a Suns squad with this many injuries to key players, and never the top three scorers.

I really liked the Booker bank shot, and the follow tip in. Both of those are just smart plays. Also, his quick release reminds me of Reggie Miller a bit. Maybe it's the form?

I'm just saying, take advantage of what's being presented. Spurs had one bad year and wound up with Duncan.
I fully expect this team to compete for a playoff spot next year. It'd be much nicer if that is done with a potential future star in the mix.

I just compare it to the Spurs season. We won't be THIS bad next season so, while we suck, let's make the most out of it. Get one more solid piece in this years draft and start the trend back upwards.

I'm reading this game thread and nobody mentioned how ridiculous the Knicks shot from 3? They were 14/18 at one point. You have no chance against that.

Also I'm not sure how bad should I feel because I haven't heard of Horacio Llamas before this game.

You shouldn't feel that bad.

Well, that makes sense. Besides the terrible record, and the odds that we won't move much in the draft (1-6), and that McD has done a decent job drafting, I think we made some huge strides this season. Although Warren got injured, and both Len and Booker have had some ups and downs, there have been measurable gains in all our super youth. Even Goodwin had some great games. We've collect solid role playing vets, and have four draft picks in the upcoming draft, with Bogdan about a year out to come over.

What we really need is a good coach with a solid system, and all players buying into that system, and playing for each other. But overall, I still feel that Knight should be moved, for it would just be wrong to move Booker back to the bench, and a waste to pay a bench player $14mil.

To clarify, I didn't mean we got nothing out of this season. The development of the youth has been the biggest plus.
I just mean, if we are going to have, possibly, the worst season in Suns history, we need to take advantage of it and be in position to draft someone who could be a star. Maybe we finish 3rd worst but end up with the 6th pick anyway or maybe we get the 3rd pick and still can't grab Simmons or Ingram, but I'd rather we be in the best possible position.

The fact that Booker is so young and looking like a future star, can you imagine adding another high potential rookie and then bringing back Bledsoe?
We'll be fighting for the playoffs next year alone. I do hope we don't splurge in free agency this offseason.
Make a run at KD (it won't work, but try), and then just fill in missing pieces.
Go for broke in 2017.

I also agree that trading Knight would be a smart move. Open up that spot for a scoring 6th man, assuming Goodwin can't fill that role) and clear up cap space.

I'm kind of surprised Booker hasn't been getting more notoriety lately. I'd think he'd be considered a top 5 rookie this year but I don't follow the others and can't tell.
The fact he was snubbed, initially, for the rising stars game was amazing.

Well if you look at the rookie watch thread on the general board, I think everyone I saw posting their all rookie team so far had Booker in it. viewtopic.php?f=6&t=1426228&start=562
