Last game, there was no one (on the court) who could stop Anthony Davis. So who is going to slow down Andre Drummond for this game?

Drummond wasn't that much of a factor in the last game IIRC. Maybe we got him in foul trouble. That's one way. Or let him get his and try to limit the other guys. Getting him out of the game or sitting many minutes may help to open up penetration as well.

Polar opposite offensive games between Drummond and Davis.

Just keep a body on him but if Cody struggles I imagine we could see more Al this game. Al usually makes Andre's head spin on the block.

7 of Davis' 14 made field goals were from 16+ feet. Davis shot 7-for-15 on long jumpers. That's the shot we were willing to give up when defending Davis. We don't have to guard Drummond from outside of the paint. He's a monster, but a different kind of monster. Guarding Drummond is all about preventing him from getting offensive rebounds, stopping his rim runs in transition and not allowing him a free run for lobs off the pick and roll. Our defense under Clifford has always been geared to allow teams to shoot long 2s. We do a good job defending the paint and a great job limiting offensive rebounds.

Justin Edwards: "Clifford said tonight's game will be a physical one, and the winner will more than likely be the team that controls the paint."

Sounds like a second Tar Heel will be needed tonight. Will he get the call?

I feel like this is the 1st game all week I've been able to watch live. I've been watching on delay for what feels like an eternity.

Good to be back in the GT again.

Harris and Morris worry me more than any other Detroit player.

Drummond included.

Totally different team from last time with Harris. They've been playing well. Playoff!

The 3 ball has made us a totally different team this year compared to previous years.

Clever, clever tap from Cody to Bats leading to the Marv 3 ball.

Do you think the dudes that hold the elastic band that allows Hugo to shoot t-shirts into the crowd have a full time gig.......or is this as good as it gets for them??
