Yall may laugh but I hope hezonja studies currys game like crazy because he has that 3 point potential. The effortless release. Plus hes taller and has a head start om development. I know the odds are 1 in 1,000,000 but Im an orlando magic fan.

Skys truly the limit with this squad and the futures bright. I got that vision yo

Yeah,I like Mario and all and gave you a plus one for being so positive but hoping for him to become Curry is a bit over the top. I think Mario can become an elite shooter and my hope for him is to become a Durant-lite player with better passing skills. Not as good of a scorer but better facilitator. I think that is his ceiling.

Dipo is at a point where we know he won't become D Wade but he can still be a very good player. He needs to get very good at shooting,finishing at the rim or drawing fouls and play smarter basketball. If he could just become elite at one of those things and pick his spots better,he would be able to help us so much more.

Thanks! I think the durant lite outcome would be awesome. Of course its near impossible to bet someone to be better than the greatest shooter of all time who still has a lot of years in his tank. I should of just mentioned Mario studying how currys hard work and release helps him get his shot off anywhere he wants. That paired with Hezonjas confidence, watch out. He may end up more tmac lite than durant lite BUT he MAY end up a better 3 point shooter than either of those two. Very excited to see this guy develop

I agree it would be awesome. We just need to get him consistent minutes and touches. It goes for everybody else too.

UPDATE:

We're now 28-36, with 18 games to go, and we need to go 13-5 to finish at .500

Personally, I think our playoff hopes are dead, unless we have a freak finish. Given that we've just come off a 3 game losing streak which included 2 games we really should've won, I don't think we've got it in us. That, coupled with all the injuries we seem much happier to rest currently, doesn't have me convinced the team is committed to the playoffs.

But.... Currently, seedings are looking like:

7 - Indiana (35-30): we're not catching them, IMO, unless they have a meltdown.
8 - Detroit (33-32): They're 6-4 in their last 10, and they look to be making a strong run for the PO's. Not sure we can catch them even if we play above expectations.
9 - Chicago (32-32): 2 game losing streak, 4-6 in last 10. They're in a freefall without Jimmy Butler. We could catch them whilst he's away.
10 - Washington (30-34): They're on a 4 game losing streak and 5-5 in their last 10. We could catch them, if we play well enough.

11 - Orlando (28-36)


A look at recent games past:

We need to go 16-10 to hit .500

But right now a .500 record wouldn't get you into the playoffs, so it's best to aim for better. Let's say 18-8 to put us at 42-40 at the end of the season?

We've lost ground by losing games we should've won, but we've kept in the chase with a W we probably weren't expecting.

A couple more unexpected W's against Portland and Charlotte and the race becomes a lot closer again.

But, with Vuc out, who knows how likely that is? We couldn't even beat the Lakers without him, and we only beat Sacramento because they were down a key player. Maybe if our other guys (AG) continue to step up in his absence we can surprise?
