AG easy. Should be unanimous. Won't be, I'm sure, but should be.

Gordon stepped up big again in Vuc's absence.

It's a shame he left so many points at the charity stripe, but otherwise, the kid just looks like a stud. And that's without a refined offensive game, or even plays drawn up for him. The kid is just a put back machine and he's finally getting oops, which means more players are looking for him. (Props to CJ for that one this game. I wasn't expecting that at all!).

He's certainly making a case to be a bigger part of the offense with his efficiency and his propensity for getting to the free throw line.

I cant believe the voting in this. 20 pts, 11 reb, 1 stl in 27 mins to 18 pts, 4 reb, 5 ast, 5 stl, 1 blk. One guys stat line helped out just as the others. Honestly gordon was great, vic was great. If vic was running point i could see cause the low assist number but he wasnt on point. I think some just want to give it to Ag just because. I mean 5 steals almost 20 points in a win. Stop it guys.

This is tougher for me than simply looking at Gordon's stat line. The decisive moment of the game was in the 4th quarter when the Magic bench propelled the team to its final lead; Gordon was not part of that. Also, the 4-10 FT stat-line was ugly.

So, in conclusion, of course I voted for Gordon!

Not that he was bad or anything, but Oladipo played a lot more minutes to get a less efficient 18 pts. He also had 5 turnovers...

He has gotten better at the line this year but yeah he left some easy ones last night that I am sure he isnt happy with. Would have had a beast game stat wise if he got those.

Now that he sees how easy he is getting to the line. Once he can consistently knock down those FTs in a 70-75%+ area and hit those threes in 32-34% area, watch out :nonono:

Did you watch the game? Statlines are cool, but AG was the guy fueling us this game. Besides, Vic's statline isn't exactly an "OMG" line. 18 points on 43% shooting, 5 steals offset by 5 turnovers. He had a nice game, but I'm not sure if your indignation is really warranted.

Gordon had two turnovers, along with 6 missed free throws, he left points off the board as well as dipo.

I loved Gordon's game, but I voted Dipo because of his steals. He's so good at lockdown defense and playing the passing lanes. I hope we never deal him. It's hard to find that kind of hustle, especially on the defensive end.

So? My point was that the statline didn't tell the whole story and Dipo's line was mediocre anyway.

I voted for Dedmon, just because I love his energy when on the floor...but yes AG deserves vest.

That his statline was mediocre? That's self evident. Only one number was even worth talking about is steals. Every other number on his statline is either completely unremarkable (points and assists), or poor (tos and shooting %).

Here let me put it into perspective for you. He scored 18 points. His average last year was 17.9 (15 this year). He got 5 assists, His average is for both years is about 4. He shot 43%, his average for both years is.... about 43%. He got slightly fewer rebounds than normal (4 vs 4.8).

So where is the difference? He got more steals (5 vs 1.5) and TOs (5 vs 2.2). So basically you are mad he didn't win the sweater vest because he a slightly better than average Victor Oladipo game.
