Booker is a helluva prospect. Now watch the Suns ruin him one way or another...in about 2 yrs, they'll find a way to say "it's all his fault"

This guy is so bitter towards the Suns it is pathetic. Get over it man. You are an embarrassment.

He's a douche.

Seriously, he's the most unprofessional reporter/writer that I've ever encountered (yes, even moreso than Jay Marrioti). I just can't fathom that people as stupid as him exist in the world. I also have no idea how he got his current job. There are millions of ops interns out there. He wasn't even a good one and got fired (or not offered, however you want to frame it). I can't believe ESPN can't find a failed basketball ops intern who at least is either smart or a decent person.

:nonono:  Well...opinions are.. variable I guess.

Len did well but so did Speights. Sort of a trade off. Suns did okay. Never much hope to beat GSW at Oracle.. but....stayed in it awhile.

I'm impressed you believed I might be serious.

Biggest Suns basher out there - constantly does it.

You know you're a clueless idiot when you bash the Suns' track record for developing guards - of all positions  .

Yet he constantly is talking about his experience in the Suns front office you'd think he was the GM or something.

No wonder the Suns FO didn't keep him around very long.

On twitter, when you bring up his history with the Suns, he claims it shouldn't be discussed because conflicts of interest distract people from the truth. Seriously, this guy is a professional reporter and he believes that. All this while he quickly jumps over any fan as biased against his opinion (for instance, if he disses the Raptors and a Raptors fan points out a contradictory stat, he says they can't be trusted because they're Raptors fans). He's a huge hypocrite.

Also, he claims the Suns were good when he was there, as if he was the reason. Yes, I'm sure the ops intern is the guy who got them to sign Nash years before he worked there and draft Amare. Dude sent mail, faxes, and helped them set up basketball promotions. It's not like he was there scouting. I bet he didn't even run advanced stats like some more advanced ops interns would do.

He proclaimed the Chandler signing a win this offseason and said he liked what the Suns were doing, while now saying they've made all the wrong moves this year.

How good is the play at 2:04? :o

My favourites are at 0:24 and 1:47. Love the moves in the first, and the Booker play in the second. Awsome 2 man game - Len can roll or pop even above the FT line, if they keep this up, they will be awful hard to stop. A younger, better shooting version of the Pau/Butler thing? His passing at the 2:04 is just the gravy on the top! 8-)

I love when Len looks to take it to the rim, he's got so much athletic advantage.

The outside jumper is nice when you need to gaurantee a shot, but I like him bustling into the paint.

When Alex plays tall, he plays good ball.

None of that fancy finesse stuff.

I got to watch the 2nd half of this game, and man that was fun. Alex Len was dynamite, and I know some people were giving him crap because of his dud last game, but I mentioned Len was probably tired from heavy minutes especially from a back to back set. Anyway, he played amazing, his confidence was there and he was focused. He made some very good passes out of the post too, looked like Pau passing occasionally.

Booker played well too. Actually, what kind of irritated me was late in the game he had the ball, and we ran a high pick and roll with Chandler at the top of the key and he could have taken a very open three but instead drove to the paint and I don't remember the outcome. I believe he missed the shot, and I was hoping he'd take the three. Booker is a very high IQ player, but I think he may have been overthinking here and probably could have gotten away with taking a three even if he missed it. Overall though, he played good, some of his fouls were very ticky tacky.

Honestly thought we could have been blowing them out by 15 late in the third quarter. The Warriors literally got three trips to the line in the last minute on consecutive possessions that really gave them a rallying point to start the 4th quarter. That annoyed me some.

Knight was fire in the 3rd. When he crossed Klay I almost left Buffalo Wild Wings. I was getting too hyped up. I knew we were eventually gonna lose but that was a very enjoyable game and we can build off of that. Job well done guys.

Damkac wrote:To be honest I only watched highlights. Would watch the game if I know it will be so nice. I was expecting a blowout.
But don't you hate Knight too much? He is not a good playmaker and maybe he will never be. But he have some talent. With Booker being so good at setting up teammates I would try to make him the main ballhandler and use Knight as a shooter/slasher. But on D Booker would cover sg and Knight pg. Kinda like Houston. Maybe it could also work with Knight/Bogdanovic backcourt.

Knight doesn't have that mentality. He is in that way like Dragic...he wants the ball and make plays for him or for others.
He can't transform himself in a Beverly / George Hill type of player...he is what he is...a dominant ball handler guard with shooting first mentality .

That is the reason why I think that he can be really good for us coming from the bench next season and dominating the ball in the second unit with players like Tucker and Chandler. Hopefully he embraces that role a la Jet Terry/Jamal Crawford ...if not it would be better to trade him.

Really happy to see another big performance from Booker and Len. Tremendous talent out there.

I don't know if Goodwin is that bad...he played only 7 minutes but made a good impact on those minutes.

Well I fell asleep at about 10pm EST (Part being sick and part playing Division all day with little to no rest).

Can someone recap for me? I got many of Coros tweets but just want and idea.

We had the lead, then lost the lead, then got the lead again, then Steph Curry did that thing where he shoots 3s and turns around to get back on defense before the ball even goes in, then we lost.

Len is MUCH more comfortable as a faceup big.

Really wish I was able watch (time/other commitments, LEGAL ability to watch, etc.) more than just highlights, but Wow!! Len looks extremely agile for a 7'1" guy. I keep reading comments about 'stiffness', but I'm not seeing it; need to keep things in perspective. Len is never going to look like Bledsoe, or (insert name here) Guard or SF. But as a 7'1" guy?? He's pretty darn mobile!

Len also has a very nice arc and stroke to his shot; something you don't often see from 7' guys. I wonder how much time and effort Hornacek provided as a 'shooting coach' for Len.

Anyway, Len, Warren, or Goodwin may never become All-NBA-level players, but Len very well could if he remains healthy for an entire season when we are in the Playoff hunt in a year or two. Warren likely is what he is, but he's a great contributor. Just needs more effort on D from what little I've seen.

And I REALLY hope we keep Goodwin. I think he is highly underrated by fans here. It's funny, but if you extrapolate his 8 minutes to 32 minutes from last night, and he has a 20 pt/16 asst/ 12 TRB stat line--Triple-Double, anyone?! And yes, I know that's incredibly inaccurate and simply not likely feasible. I just bring that up because I feel Goodwin's turned the proverbial corner this season, and is making the most of the minutes he's provided--be it 8 minutes or 38 minutes. He's a solid rotational piece, and IMO, probably a top 3 Sun's player in the 'bang for your buck' department, behind Booker and Len, and on par with Warren (he's making roughly half as much as Warren, and provided LEAST half of Warren's production/value, when Warren was healthy).

Future looks pretty darn bright, IMO. (cue Frank with a post about 'Rose-Colored Glasses')

I have no idea how guys like Elhassan, Broussard and frankly quite a few of these guys at ESPN stay employed. But particularly Elhassan always arguing with the public via twitter.

ESPN seems to like the guys that create controversy because it leads to discussion but I wish they just stuck with more professional guys like Lowe.

So how much would you pay or match Archie next summer if we still have Bledsoe, Knight, Booker and Bogdan (and maybe someone we draft).
