Post ASB: 13games, 20.1ppg, 9.7rpg, 7.8apg, 1.9spg, 1.8bpg.

That is incredible. 20/10/8/2/2 is his average over the last month of basketball. A month is getting pretty consistent.

things to do in the offseason:

1) stay in US
2) get rest(2 weeks are enough)
3) 500 shots per day, off the dribble
4) 300 shots per day, catch and shoot
5) 200 3 pointers
6) Make 100 lay ups per day, only by using the glass
7) Train with penny hardaway at handles
8) Add some muscles
9) Last but definetely not least: Please get a normal FT routine that will last less than a time out lol

Well. Knicks are one of the teams i support. Always liked them especially at '90s. Nice times....
....it sucks that you guys have the wrong antetokounmpo lol

I would trade Porzingis, your choice of #1 picks and even Melo, if you wanted, for Giannis. Cool? :)

No, but Simmons is thought to be of the same mold and if we get the #1 pick, we will do that deal for him.

I'm going to go out on a limb here - Provided that this isn't just a super-hot streak, Giannis is CURRENTLY a top 10 player in the NBA....and he can't even shoot yet.

We have 15 more games to watch this experiment, exactly 1 more month.

In total post ASB it will be 28 games and 2 months with Giannis at Point.

I see no reason why Giannis won't continue at his current rate of roughly 20/10/8/2/2.

Let's say he continues the trend of 1 Triple double for every 3.25 games, he can get another 4.6 or round up 5 TDs. Giving him 9 on the season. Someone asked about MIP.

Im thinking if he goes off for another 5 TD's and has 9 for the season heck ya he's in the debate for MIP.

Who's leading the league in TD's (this article is Feb 29th)

http://www.cheatsheet.com/sports/nba-4-players-with-the-most-triple-doubles-this-season.html/?a=viewall

#1 Green GSW 11
#2 Westbrooke OKC 8
#3 Rando 5
#4 Whiteside 3

I might have to go back and look at these 4 and update their numbers...hmmmm...

Updated:

#1 Green GSW 11
#1 Wesbrook OKC 11
#3 Rondo SAC 5
#4 Giannis 4
#5 Whiteside 3

Giannis is already 4th and at his current pace could pass Rondo and finish 3rd for most Triple Double's in the league!!

On the General Board I called Giannis the 2nd best player in the East right now but they didn't like that for some reason. Oh well lol

The reason is that he isn't lol
Not a top10 in the East either. Not yet.
And 11 games is a small sample to have threads about it in general board.
......but we can have all the hyperbole we want on bucks forum

We've had quite a few Bucks/Giannis threads in recent weeks, whichever mod closed it was probably sick of it. They even locked the '7 foot PG' thread someone bumped lol. It's whatever, the Giannis thread on the PC board is gonna be live in the coming weeks.

Youngest ever to have 4 TD's in 11 games. And only 4 active players have done 4 Triple Doubles in 11 games.

http://espn.go.com/blog/statsinfo/post/_/id/115214/giannis-etches-himself-into-bucks-history-with-another-triple-double
Giannis Antetokounmpo scored 28 points, grabbed 11 rebounds and dished out 14 assists to register his fourth career triple-double in Milwaukee's 109-100 win against the Nets Sunday.

With the triple-double, he set the Bucks franchise record for most triple-doubles in a single season according to the Elias Sports Bureau.

Most Triple-Doubles in Single Season - Bucks History
2015-16 Giannis Antetokounmpo 4
1990-91 Alvin Robertson 3
1973-74 Kareem Abdul-Jabbar 3
1970-71 Oscar Robertson 3

And all of his triple-doubles have come from the All-Star break. In his first 212 career games, he failed to register a triple double. In his last 11 games, Antetokounmpo has his four career triple-doubles.

With his four triple-doubles this season, the only players since the merger (1976-77) with more triple-doubles in a season before turning 22 are Magic Johnson and LeBron James, according to the Elias Sports Bureau.

Antetokounmpo assisted on four of Jabari Parker's baskets Sunday, and has assisted on 30 percent of Parker's buckets since the All-Star break, compared with 11 percent prior.

Only four other active players had four triple-doubles in a span of 11 games at any point in their NBA careers: James, Rajon Rondo, Russell Westbrook, and Draymond Green, according to Elias.

In addition, he is the youngest player to have such a span of game, according to the Elias Sports Bureau.

Youngest Players in Single Season - NBA History
Years-Days
2015-16 Giannis Antetokounmpo 21-98days
1960-61 Oscar Robertson 21-353
1994-95 Jason Kidd 22-28
1980-81 Magic Johnson 22-116
2007-08 LeBron James 22-330

And check out Jabari getting 30% of the assists from Giannis since ASB.

The most impressive thing about tonight was the Nets clearly came into the game intending to double him and pressure him as often as possible and he just calmly set up his teammates for easy baskets until they stopped. He's showing a level of maturity with the ball in his hands that is really remarkable so far.

Hey MD or PP, are you guys able to see who shuts the threads down? One of those mods is seriously a Giannis hater. Every Giannis thread gets shut down on the GB. Yet other players can have their own threads live on. People keep starting Giannis threads cause he deserves it and there is no place to talk about him over there since they keep shutting them down. Don't they understand that? **** haters.

This was posted online Saturday. Some more talk about Giannis the Point.

He's added one more triple double since then. Has some nice .gifs showing his assits over the last few games, recommended reading.

http://www.basketballinsiders.com/nba-saturday-giannis-antetokounmpo-on-point-since-all-star-break/

Image

Giannis at 4, he's gonna pass Rondo soon in 2 weeks (IMO).

What's crazy is this accomplishment is over 13 games and will be over total 28 games, imagine can Giannis keep this up over 82 games? Could he have 20 Triple doubles next season? At the current rate (3.25) or 1 TD every 4 games.

Most in a season:

http://www.examiner.com/article/nba-players-with-most-triple-doubles-a-season

#1 Oscar 41
#2 Wilt 31
#3 Oscar 26
#3 Oscar 26
#5 Wilt 22
#5 Wilt 22
#7 Oscar 20
#8 Magic 17
#9 Fat Lever 16
#10 Jordan 15

LBJ best: 7 Just to put in perspective how crazy this all is and remember how hard it is to stack up triple doubles.

If he continues at this pace next season he'd finish #7 overall in history with 20 Triple doubles. That's crazy. It's insane to think about. I think I might be more crazy thinking about and anticipating next year's season than I have in a very long time.
