With Brandon Knight back, I think our tank will be fine.

Yeah, not a very good night for our tank. If I were a betting man I would have put serious money on Brooklyn winning against the Okafor-less Philly. It's a good thing I'm not a betting man. I guess the better Brooklyn players (Young, Lopez) just don't care all that much, they'll get their numbers no matter what, since there is noone else on that team. And the rest is just tuuuuurrrible and can not play the beautiful game of basketball... I'm getting afraid that we'll catch them.
I also really wanted one of Detroit or Chicago to pull out a win, didn't happen. :(
At least the Wolves won, and Washington has the Denver b2b tonite.

You mean after the, you know, Phoenix Suns...

Go Denver. Be funny if Washington started to tank for a top 9 pick and got 10th.

Washington next two games: Pistons and Bulls. If they don't win those they are totally out of the playoff picture.
They are now tied with the Jazz at the 12th place, with Denver and Orlando a cpl games back. Denver might catch them, I think Orlando will not if they don't start to tank blatantly, but I can see them sitting Wall and Beal for the last 10 games with bogus injuries if they have a chance at #9 and they are out of the playoffs for sure.

It's top 8 protected right? So we could still get their pick at 9? Or is it top 9 protected.

No they get to keep it if its 9 or better.
Although I still think they would need some blatant tanking to keep it, but it's definatley not out of the question if they lose against the Pistons and Bulls in their next two games...
Silver lining to that is the next years draft is supposed to be a lot better so a 11-17 pick could be just as good as the 10-11 this year.

They're a typical Markieff Morris team, don't know whether having him is the strategy to win games or to tank.

Brooklyn is just so bad. Like 5 clutch consecutive possessions ending in turnover

Give up on Brooklyn, let's win 4-5 more games because of Booker and Len and finish 4th.

I no longer believe we'll get the 3rd pick. As bad as we are, the Nets are just that much worse.
The biggest thing we need to worry about is Minny catching us. Even at 4 there's still a chance (always remember the Pels at 5 getting Davis and Bulls at 9 getting Rose).

Just have to let this thing play out and hope we get rewarded for not actally trying to tank. I know the Nets aren't but I'd hate to see Boston be rewarded because of Billy Kings idiocy.

Yeah, I think now we can pencil in that 4th place, and we really have to watch our remaining games against Minnesota (and pretty much all the rest as we have a fairly easy schedule). I don't wanna end up 5th, I came to peace with 4th and a cpl extra wins for Lens and Bookers sake.

Oh, and watch Washington and hope they don't tank well enough to keep their pick. I actually started rooting for them for their next 2 games, so they might stay around playoff contention. They are now 3,5 games behind Detroit for the last playoff spot and Detroit is visiting Washington tonite.

I also forgot to mention, didn't LAL have the 4th worst record but still snuck up to 2?
